   Beautiful furniture and homewares - very expensive pricing. We purchased 2x bar stools, took one home with us, the other had to come from Tauranga warehouse (was told it would come up on Thursday the following week)... it took two weeks plus, and lots of follow up. Then when we did finally get it, it had to be assembled, the base didn't match the seat, AND it was wrong colour. Still trying to sort it out. Don't think I'll return here again anytime soon. Correct one: Told it was on the truck for delivery Thursday or Friday at latest, still didn't arrive, after 15 mins on phone told definately Tuesday, and still not and still sitting in Auckland. Finally they're saying they've moved the freight to NZ Couriers. We'll see how that goes. Not very impressed! 2 weeks later, last one in country, can't do anything about it, still not arrived. Wish I could do no stars. Don't ever shop here!

   Bought "the don" chair from the domani range 8 years ago that is still going strong. They've sadly stopped selling it since. The chair is in excellent condition after all this time. Being able to pick your own material makes a huge difference. I've yet to have a chair as comfortable as this.

   Today, me and my husband went to buy a sofa. The guy (sorry forgot to get your name) was very helpful and accommodating. We actually went to other shops before coming here but decided to buy it here as they have a very good price, good quality sofa, and most of all an exceptional customer service. Well done:)

   Hunter Furniture Wairau What a great experience we had at this store .We were greeted by the lovely Deisha who was so helpful , patient & easy to engage with , Azim the store guru for colour & detail styled our whole lounge around the wallpaper we were trying to match, Pyal who supported the process with her understanding approach. What a relief finding a team working together who knew what they were doing . Azim ,Deisha ,Pyal thank you so much.

   I bought a bookshelf and got it delivered to me. When it was finally delivered to me - it was wobbly. When I asked why it was wobbly - I was told it was always wobbly and I should lean it against the wall for extra support. Upon checking the condition of the bookshelf I noticed that there were five screws missing from the bookshelf as a result I had a wobbly bookshelf delivered to me. I was very concerned as this could be a significant health and safety issue if the bookshelf falls and hurt someone. When I contacted the store manager (AZIM) - he promised he would contact and call me back, which did not happen I had to constantly reach out to him to mediate. I finally got a phone call and he asked me to buy screws myself from Bunnings Or mote10, but I couldn’t find them as they are not widely available . Azim the store manager has then told me he would send them to me but haven’t heard anything back and he is now ignoring my email and text messages. I am so furious with this company and Azim and I would never purchase anything from hunters. I will now have contact consumer protection to resolve this issue ! There is no customer service whatsoever and I will lodge a formal complaint after this.

   A very positive experience at both Link Dr and Mt Wellington stores. Staff keen to listen, advise and provide furniture solutions. No pressure or rush. Very keen to do a deal that works. We bought a lounge suite a 2 chairs. Hunters are the more 'upmarket' trading arm if LazyBoy. (more modern styling) The Mt Wellington store has conjoined large showrooms of both product lines. Good parking at both stores. Prices very competitive. N Z made products.

   My elderly aunt is very happy with her new armchair, it's gorgeous and so comfortable. Suzie and Ellie went out of their way to assist us and get exactly what she wanted quicker than normal (just before Christmas!). Long story, but they even went off walking to a different shop that we mentioned we'd ordered something from all because my ditsy aunt gave them an incorrect phone number derr!. Would highly recommend this store, it's not just the high quality of the products but also these two ladies are so delightful.
