   Lady who did my nails, who is probably the senior technician, short bob cut hair and Asian, was rude, disrespectful, and was quite brutal with how she handled my nails. Because she wasn’t careful, I now have a cut under my nail and bleeding, it’s quite painful to be honest. Lady never said sorry. Poor service, and absolutely the worst nail salon I’ve been to here in NZ. Never coming back again.

   This was my first time with Lustre. I have had my nails done 4 times within 3 months from other places and the outcome wasn't as good at all. Coming to Lustre was a happy good experience. Anna was welcoming, easy to talk with. She took the time to understand what I was wanting. Anna was patience and kind and did an amazing job on my nails. Lovely friendly fun happy lady. I would recommend Anne to others without issue.

   Our first and last visit. Me and my sister went to get our pedicures and manicures done, the whole experience felt very rushed even though we booked in advance and arrived over 30min before our appointments. While one person was doing my pedicure another was awkwardly applying my gel extensions to my fingernails. I had the UV lamp balancing on my own knee at times while it cured my nails, when we were eventually moved to proper seats instead of spa chairs to continue our fingernails, there were bubbles underneath almost all of my sisters gel extensions - just waiting to pop off so she asked they be redone, as she didn’t want to pay for nails that wouldn’t even last the day. In the end all extensions needed to be removed and her fingernails were left so thin and sore after removal she did not want them damaged further with another application of extensions and asked them to stop there. However I found Candy was extremely precise with my nail art, she did an excellent job. But the application of my gel extensions (done by another women) was equally as bad as my sisters - very messy with far to much gel that it filled under my natural nails and started to flow over my finger tips I had to ask them to tidy them up again before leaving but I still wasn’t overly satisfied with their efforts. One of my nails has already popped clean off just one day after application! For the poor quality and service I feel we were over charged I paid $135 for my fingernails ($85 for gel extensions plus an additional $50 for the chrome tips) I will definitely not be going back, I thought a few of the staff rather rude and others inexperienced.
