I was on vacation and was in need of a haircut before a wedding. Luckily I found Custom Cutz, I got a great haircut and beard shape up. He had me looking great for the wedding.
Just got the worst haircut of my life there. Been there for a few time and it was good until my main person is not there so i gave this guy "Shoel" a go and that was a bad decision. Avoid this guy at all cost if you want have to have a good service and a good haircut after.

So, my beard was getting a bit too out of hand and I desperately needed a good trim, shape and neaten! Coming from South Africa I had my go to Barber all the time but leaving SA and coming to NZ left me searching for a good Barber! As you all know, that's not easy, especially to trust someone with your well earned growth and patients after nurturing that beast on your face! That's why I trust and Gemma (sorry for the spelling) who did my beard as a walk-in! She was on point! Welcoming, understood what I was looking for, saw the pick I showed her of what I was aiming for and did exactly that! I walked in during the week, at 08:50 or so and had the well needed treatment I was searching for and around a small $20 later, I was clean and ready for the week! Jayden has been cutting my hair for the last 16 months. He does amazing job that keeps me coming back. I saw one other barber when Jayden was unavailable and it was good but not great Download the app. It makes your life much easier to schedule appointments and take the waiting out of the equation
Not impressed with the service, especially when I paid $40. Avoid this business at all cost. Background: Got a hair cut done last Thursday, hoping I would get a good barber that knows what they doing. Unfortunely that was not the case. While they were cutting my hair, I started getting a gut feeling that the person is not competent enough to do what I've asked them to do. When I got home, I looked at the mirror and straight away knew that the cut turned out to be bad. The fade was not consistent and the top was not even. On top of that, there were other things that I am not even going to bother to mention. Lucky enough the bro from Studio36 The Gentleman's Barber managed to salvage and fix the my "custom cut" into something that I asked for and looks presentable. Conclusion: If you want a "custom cut" and pay $40 then this is the place to. Attend at your own risk.
