My first appointment was with her yesterday and the level of care, detail and effort she put into my hair was amazing. It's obvious how much she cares about doing an amazing job. She listens to what you want and runs everything by you to ensure there are no surprises. I've finally found my hairdresser and I'm stoked!

   I recently had my hair cut here by Kelly and she honestly ruined my hair. I went in with very long thick hair and asked for it to be cut in layers, (I showed example photos) but what she did was cut the top half of my hair to shoulder length and the rest falling half way down my back. So it was basically a mullet, with the shorter section being thicker than the longer section. This was definitely not what I asked for. She curled my hair so I couldn't see what the cut was like when I left but she said it looked 'amazing'. Once I realised how bad it was I booked an appointment for it to be fixed (by a different stylist) and she agreed the cut was done terribly, and tried to fix it as best she could, but there was nothing she could do except cut my hair to shoulder length. She said I'd need to grow it out at least 15cm to get it how I asked for it to be cut in the first place. So that's a year it's going to take me to grow out a haircut done by a 'professional' and a senior stylist. I wish I'd left before she started cutting.

My hair was done by the lovely Kelly, and I just love it, and also great coffee was served. If you are looking for a fantastic salon to go to I highly recommend Fab Hair Company.

   Visiting Wellington from the States and not knowing anyone who cuts thick, short, hair I called FAB salon and they booked me with Krissy, she is amazing, and really knows how to cut and style short hair with scissors (rather than razor). I highly recommend her and she is lovely and friendly also. Many thanks for a FAB haircut!!
