   Fantastic service on a very hot Saturday afternoon. My partner has never experienced a cold coffee before so the wonderful woman behind the counter was patient as she explained the different variations available. He was stoked with her recommendation! As always, I've enjoyed their Americano's for a few years now and today was no exception. Great services, yummy chocolates and delicious drinks.

   Very poor service. We were served with take away as we ordered for dine in. Staff (girl with green hair) was very rude as she said we are about to close at 3:30 pm . And when I asked what is your closing time she mentioned very interesting question and just ran away. I am sure management has to provide lot better training to staff .

   Place is huge and can accommodate groups of people. Nice place for date and friendly catch-ups. However, had to wait a little while until a staff attended to us. Not so quick service. But loved their range of chocolate collection and buttlers chocolate affogato.

   While Butler's Chocolate Cafe in Queensgate, Lower Hutt boasts a tempting array of handmade sweets and chocolates, the coffee experience left much to be desired. The brew had an overly acidic taste, detracting from the overall enjoyment. Although the chocolate offerings were satisfactory, they weren't enough to salvage the underwhelming impression left by the coffee.

   This cafe is really nice. The staff are nice and friendly. I love the little chocolate truffles that you get to choose with your hot beverage. I always go for the hot chocolate. It is quite rich, but very delicious. I would definitely recommend this cafe as a nice place to go.

   What a horrible experience we had. Walked in, two boys behind the counter. No hello no nothing. One table was occupied with some elderly people. There is a menu at the table. Waited for 15 minutes for one of them to come and take our order. Nothing happened while the two of them enjoyed some conversation. I got up and went to them to place an order. Asked them for a Pink milkshake for my kid. They said we don't have. I asked on the menu you have vanilla shake with three berries syrup. The guy said NO. I said it's in the menu. He said NO, we don't have. Service was pathetic to say the least. We wanted to spoil ourselves with some overpriced chocolate. After that attitude, we got up and went at other place which we had fantastic service. This chocolate shop is pretty average, nothing to cry about. For a butler place does not live up to their own expectations. This was my first and last time there. Glad didn't spend anything on them.

   Dangerous place to visit. Great coffee & hot drinks plus the desserts are fantastic. We went there for the food and drink not the internet which there isn't any but when your eating great chocolate and drinking real chocolate who cares...if you do then go somewhere else. Your there to enjoy and eat not to work. Great service and comfortable chairs.

   I always head into Butlers for a takeaway coffee when I pick up a game from EB games next door. Decided to sit in this time and enjoy the beautiful decor inside the shop. Really nice chocolate and coffee, I usually order a Mocha with Caramel or White Mocha. I look forward to trying one of their milkshakes the next time I go in. Always great service and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
