    Love this store and alot of history here, and they have done well recovering after cyclone Gabrielle. Such a great variety of products for sale, and a very chill enviroment with locals alway outside to talk to while eating food. - Mussel and scallops 4.0/10 Thier batter has always been on point. However my mussels and scallops were overcooked. Maybe a one off, i will try again to see if i get the same result.

    Extremely friendly, helpful staff and well stocked store. We were asking for directions to somewhere for a big breakfast when the friendly gentleman at the counter offered to open up the kitchen and serve us. Didn't take long at all and the food & coffee was delicious, as well as very good hospitality from the team.

    The general store is well stocked, and the girl makes yummy fresh coffee. Even sells postcards, and there is a postbox outside. There were tables and chairs outside to sit and drink your coffees, eat some snacks or just gather with friends. It's located across the road from the river wits seating, and also there is a cute little library.

    The margins these guys put on products is absolutely appalling and shameless. $29 for a 6 pack of beers that would cost $19 everywhere else. Shame on you!!! Food is average at best. Sullen staff who clearly don’t enjoy working there. Recommend to drive straight past this place.
