   Heading back into Auckland yesterday we had our second opportunity to be on the receiving end of this delightful man and the ice-creams-in-a-cone on offer: amazing selection of flavours, a good choice of sizes, very generous servings. And a table outside to sit and enjoy before heading on our way. Also a huge offering of free books just outside the door. This man and his ice-creams are a destination experience!

   The Kaukapapa store is a unique place in the Kaipara region. Michael and his whanau are an integral part of their community, and are always there with a warm smile and some friendly banter. You can tell when someone has been to store, they are usually holding a cardboard box lol!
