   I ordered some boots from this company a month ago and have not had any update from them despite emailing (their email address is fake), texting and messaging through instagram. Their expected delivery date has now passed and I still have no tracking details for my order no. 6128. The boots were expensive so I would like a refund if they are not able to fulfill the order but they are uncontactable. I think this company may be a scam from other reviews I have seen after looking into them….posting this publicly after multiple attempts to contact them directly in the hope that they will get in touch if this is not the case.

   I put one star because their products are awesome. However the way they conduct business and their customer follow-up service is appalling. I discovered Missfits during the first lockdown and loved their range plus I wanted to support NZ companies. I bought a few items and was assured, if I sent in photos of the stuff I had bought, I would receive a $20.00 voucher to spend online. I took some imaginative shots of bags on a beach and a lovely top and sure enough got sent some vouchers. They also gave me another $20 voucher to compensate for the extremely long wait for one item. I was delighted. However, when I tried to claim my vouchers I was unable to do so. I tried to ring them on more than a dozen occasions and they never answered - I emailed a few times and even contacted them via Facebook - with absolutely no joy whatsoever. In short they were impossible to get hold of. So I gave up in frustration and will not order from them again. I run my own small business that is thriving because of the prompt and friendly customer service I always insure. Missfits - you are doomed to failure eventually if you carry on this way and it is sad because you do have awesome products and I liked the idea of supporting NZ artists. Wake-up!

   Please be aware the product is not made in New Zealand and comes from overseas. My fault for not looking into this more, I checked the “contact us” and thought it was coming from Wellington. I would always buy NZ first vs overseas to support our local business. In hindsight would not have purchased if looked at these reviews first. My delivery has stalled and so far been waiting 4 weeks since purchase. No help with questions re eta and only given “ expected delays, not sure when, and your one of many suffering the same” when asked if in the country was removed from the chat. International deliveries from other companies no issue so not sure why. 23 Oct 2021- product still not arrived and still sitting in China ( 46 days since first ordered not sure when it will arrive) Missfits have now updated the site to say shipped from overseas “ thank goodness” which wasn’t on the site when I ordered (only mentioned with with confirmation of purchase) The blurb down below is an indication of what you would expect from customer service, I noticed no mention of how I requested a refund over three times with nothing ever given. However two masks were sent to me because of my wait “ thank you” however both not the style I paid for or ordered and do not fit, all I wanted was a refund!!! Was told to tighten the elastic, bit hard when it doesn’t fit over my nose and chin tightening won’t adjust that. I support “ NZ MADE” as well as NZ Designed. NZ MADE does not mean overseas made.

   Thank you for the wonderful service! Received my shoes safe and sound, much sooner than I was expecting! I very much appreciate the communication you gave me every step of the way about possible delays and the special care taken with made to order items. Follow up E-mail to advise of delivery was very nice too. Very happy with the shoes and everything else!

   My tiny package has finally arrived after waiting for 8weeks. I’m diffinately not happy with the quality of x2 masks with no filters and a hat which is too large. Cheaply made for the price I paid for. I have asked for a full refund when I receive my other garments. Not sure when those will arrive. I thought these were made in Porirua but apparently is made in China. Sewed with white cotton on dark background. Be warned people what you see online is not what you get. So disappointed

   Was excited to find such an amazing looking store that was local but what a terrible experience. 2 months later and no shoes, no response to emails or messenger through Facebook, in fact they have turned their messenger function off now but are still happily posting more and more products with apparently no intention of fulfilling previous orders and deleting all comments which question where orders are. Trying to use the shipping as an excuse now is not on, no other companies have been this bad and if they were, they would have the decency to front up and communicate with their customers so we aren't left out of pocket with no clue what is going on. I've never left a review before but you have left me no other choice with your failure to respond to any avenues of communication. (Edited - Response to owner - Ordered under my married name, do you have that many people that have messaged you, emailed 4 times and ordered over 2 months ago named Nicole, interesting you can respond to a review but not the multiple emails or request for refund)
