   Went in to buy some shoes for a Christmas gift and the older male worker was very friendly and had a super cheery attitude but the younger male coworker was super blunt and just didn’t seem like he wanted to interact with me or my friend that came in he was acting as if we were acting as a burden the moment we interacted with him. But another problem is that the shoes I bought were displayed as $290 but once the young male worker scanned the shoes he charged me $300 I didn’t realise at the time until after I had left Wellington.

   Do not buy online with this company as they sell stock they don’t have, then send you an email saying “Sorry unavailable” and then make you wait for a refund. What a waste of time and effort. You would think with modern day technology that they would be able to work out what they have in stock before they charge your credit card but no, stuff the customer around …..maybe they use windows 95 or can’t count, either way useless online service and don’t waste your time folks.

   Service was pretty disappointing. I came in on a Wednesday around 5 PM and approached a young female staff member for help. Right away, it felt like I was inconveniencing her — she seemed visibly annoyed to step away from a conversation she was having with another staff member. Her energy felt flat and disengaged. I understand retail can be exhausting (I've worked in it too), but it doesn’t take much to show a bit of enthusiasm — if not for the company’s image, then at least for your own professional pride. She quickly disappeared back to her conversation, where I could hear swearing and complaints about wanting to go home. Thankfully, a young male staff member stepped in and completely turned things around. He was attentive, asked the right questions, and genuinely helped me out. Honestly, if it weren’t for him, I would’ve left. The receipt said the cashier was 'Jack H' — so if that was you, thank you. You were fantastic.

   My order has been sitting in the store since the 17th of August. We are unable to contact the store due to the phone line being down and the customer service persons that I've spoken to on numerous occasions are USELESS. Unhappy customer an will never shop with FL NZ again

   I am beyond livid with Foot Locker. Ordered shoes a week ago, and today got an email saying they're out of stock? Seriously? A whole week just to tell me that? Unbelievable. Waiting this long for nothing is utterly ridiculous. They couldn't even keep the item available after all this time. To top it off, their customer service was a joke. No empathy, no solutions, not even store credit offered. It's like they don't care about keeping customers satisfied. And now, guess what? I have to wait for a refund. Why should I wait for money they took but couldn't deliver the product? It's their mistake, but I have to pay the price with my time and patience? This experience with Foot Locker is an infuriating waste. Trusted them for timely delivery, but all I got was disappointment and inconvenience. Never shopping here again, and I strongly warn others against trusting them with their money.

   Awesome team and great service. I have not been to this store in years and they offer a lot more selection and shoes that are hard to get. I got the AJ3 Retro Midnight navy/white which other stores dont stock and hard to buy my size online. Highly recommended
