   Awful experience, refused to honour their pricing, after they put a wrong price on the items. After that sold us a faulty product and after exchanging it the next day - we found out it was faulty too? In the same place? Horrible customer service and rude staff. Do not recommend. Went to Silverdale M10 - feels like a different world. If you don’t wanna age 10 years in 2 days, please go to Silverdale straight away. Spend those extra 10 mins! Do not make my mistake - you will not regret it!!

   Absolutely horrible experience with this store. After multiple complaints and phone calls they still refused to do things right. Price dishonour and no customer service whatsoever. This is %100 the worst experience I’ve had.

   Brought my own key blank and master, asked staff to cut the blank against the master. Got declined service with “yes we do key cutting, but it would be too hard to process, as we have our own blanks, try in the Plaza”. Despite offering to pay for labour cutting charges and THEIR blank. Sounds either lazy or discriminatory service to me. Won’t be shopping in this Mitre 10 again.

   Quiet for a Saturday afternoon - stocked with most supplies and materials any DIY enthusiast or Tradie might need to get a job done the right way. Check out was friendly and supportive. Parking available with a coffee shop onsite.

   I went into this store Friday 26th of May at approximately 4pm. I was looking for a specific product. My first experience with a team member was pleasant. I then went into the aisle and approached a lady by the name of Claudia who obviously didn't want to be there. She offered me little to no help and certainly not with a smile. Customer Service fail!!! I then went up to the counter where I found John, Molly and Tyler and they most certainly went above and beyond the customer service experience. Perhaps the other lady needs some more training as that was not a pleasant experience with her. But well done to the other team members you were great.

   I really like the range in Mitre 10, it's closer to home than Bunnings and the homeware department is great, and the garden centre is lovely. But the customer service is lacklustre at best and oftentimes as a customer it feels like you are more of an nuisance just buying a product than a valued customer. My partner has tried to use the trade side for timber materials often to be told that that side is closed for the day, even though Mitre 10 is still open and trading for atleast another hour. I would like to support local but honestly the sour faces and avoidant staff put me off, so will probably go for Bunnings.

   The prices are great, but the staff are strange. I was leaving 10 minutes before close (sorry) to buy one item, but when I tried to pay with cash they told me they already cashed up. He asked me for my card instead, which I told him I didn't have, and said he wouldn't be able to take my money. After some back and forth another employee said he could actually accept the cash and explained how to deal with the cash up. There were also like, 6 or 7 employees behind the counter watching this exchange for whatever reason. Just a bit offputting and stressful.

   Very organised and neat store. It's not huge like the Mega10, which is good as well as I could find what I'm after very quickly. Visit now for the opening deals, there are quite a number of items on specials! The garden area is not big but very clean, worth a quick stroll. Pop into the cafe for food and drinks, it's great and deserves our support.
