   For all things Thai Food related…this is the place. The staff were very efficient but also knowledgeable and more than happy to explain the menu. The generous menu is colourful and vast with a complement of drinks to enhance the stunning and sumptuous Thai food.

   Wow is all I can say. I heard about Tuk Tuk thai over the years but we hadn't made it out of the city to try it. I am so glad we did as this was such beautiful Thai food. The atmosphere is lovely and you can tell that the owners put a lot of love into the decor. The service was great with friendly and attentive staff. But the food was the best Thai we've had in the wellington region. My husband and I both love Thai food and have tried most of the Thai restaurants in the wellington region, but Tuk Tuck Thai blew us away. The red curry is so silky, flavorful, and decadent and I felt like I was having a high end, luxurious Thai meal. The green curry was also very unctuous and flavorful with just the right hint of spice. The menu warns that both curry's come as medium, and we were a bit worried because we are not the best with spice, but neither were too spicy for us, so don't let that scare you off. We also had the roti with satay sauce and wow, the satay sauce is beautiful with great flavor, and one that you can tell is made in house. I 1000% recommend TukTuck Thai and if you have not tried it yet, please do, as you won't be disappointed. We are still talking about that meal the next day and cannot wait to go back.

   After reading about the closing of their Waikanae branch, we dropped by to support this family business! Last time I was here I came for the rice burger, which had raving reviews, so this time we came to try what this restaurant was all about - authentic Thai food. With the backlog of liquor license, they are a few weeks out from reobtaining one, just as well none of us drink alcohol anyway, so we all ordered their mocktails. All 3 of our mocktails were beautifully presented and had a very nice refreshing flavour, we were torn between the raspberry or the strawberry one, as they were both nice in their own way. We got the larb wonton and prawn spring rolls to start, they both had a nice tangy and sweet dipping sauce and were great appetizers. We went for variety and ordered the lemon fish, masaman curry with duck, and the highly recommended pad thai, definitely worthy of being the most popular dish! (the peanut sprinkle and the lemon wedges came later after the photo was taken so just imagine them sprinkled on top, do not miss these condiments! They really picked up the flavours) one of the best Pad Thai we have had! We were all super impressed with the massaman curry, so much duck and that sauce was just divine, you can choose the level of spiciness but definitely recommend this if you are after a Thai curry when you visit! Afterwards, we decided to try one of each recommended desserts, the cheesecake was homemade and was nice and creamy with a very prominent flavour of raspberry sauce. The fried bananas were great but OMG, you must try that mango sticky rice! It was warm with a slight saltiness, drizzled with coconut cream balanced out with a scoop of ice cream, this was a heavenly dessert, we all could not stop raving about this! Also look! They had fresh mangoes! You don't get that everyday! Super spacious venue ideal for groups, with a very cute tuk Tuk by the window and all the other decorations were hand-picked in Chiang Mai, including that 3m door! We're looking to come back soon, especially since they will be participating in Welly on a plate events this year!

   Wild weather in Wellington this week Tuk Tuk Thai kitchen provided a cozy place for a delicious meal. We are a vegan family and it is so refreshing to go somewhere that there are many vegan options to choose from. The menu is large with food to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Service was excellent, just the right level of attention. Such a quality restaurant at reasonable prices in Porirua thank you.

   Wow! What amazing food this place has, topped off with brilliant service. We really enjoyed finding this gem in Porirua's food offerings. Great to have easy to see Vegan options on the menu too. Will definitely be back whenever we're in that next of the woods again. Thanks so much.

   My wife and 2 friends had dinner there tonight. The main was nice and came out promptly but then they had to wait for 2 hours before any waiting staff came near them or checked in to see if they would like another drink or a dessert. Have never had such bad service before. The waitress did apologize and said they had been very busy which was rubbish as they cleared all the 4 empty tables around us and ignored us. She then said they had new young staff. Again no excuse this is the managers job to make sure they know what tables they are serving. Thank you for saying sorry but you need to do something about your service!

   Everything is so delicious. Excellent quality. The best Tom yum ever had. Perfect balance of spice and flavor. Nothing is overwhelming, everything complements one another. Highly recommended
