An easy and fun way to get fit and learn an awesome martial arts. The instructor is knowledgeable, respectful and attentive. It's always a good time attending this class!
Great place to learn Kung Fu, the instructor is amazing and very helpful, the poeple there are easy to approach and talk to.
I couldn't recommend this school enough. It is so fun and really engaging. Jiao Lian (the teacher) is so amazing and makes us all feel welcome. Would recommend to everyone.
Will highly recommend! It's fun, engaging, confidence boosting!! Everyone should try it, you have no excuse as first class is free! The Kung Fu School in Dunedin was quite an experience. Jiao Lian Kenneth Mitchell (that's the teacher/sensei of Kung Fu) is something special, he is so friendly and easy to talk and is super patient. As a new comer you are so unsure of the little traditions and expectations within the "dojo" and Jiao Lian doesn't take offense if you forgot or didn't know and just tries helping to educate you on them. Then we get to the actual Kung Fu all I can say is be prepared for some cardio, cause you really work up a sweat. The games at the start to warm up are fun and silly. Then learning the moves are powerful and give you a sense of what your body has the potential of actually doing. Whole class especially Harvey and Sage are super helpful and answer some questions you didn't want ask as you think you might seem dumb. All in all I'm hooked and super stiff from all the jump kicks.
