   Multiple workers told me I’d be able to return the product for my money back at a different location. I made sure to absolutely confirm this with them all, not just the cashier, before I even purchased the product and paid. I went out of my way to go to show up to a Hunting and Fishing location so I can return the product because it was not adequate, and the other location said its not possible. I called this store in Taupo to figure it out with them and they just admitted they gave me wrong information and there’s nothing they can do. The other location I’m at even offered to take the product for me and ship it to the taupo location if the taupo store processes me the return on my card. Taupo location did not agree to this… for why? Very upset and wasted my money with these people. Edit in response to owner’s comment: I was on the phone with your store while at the north shore location and was told this. A worker from your location even called me back on the north shore location’s phone. The north shore location even offered to take the product for me and ship it to you guys as long as you guys gave me the processed return to my card. I just tried to call you in store but you are now closed. I’m leaving tomorrow so there’s nothing I can do.

   Honestly, the service here is always top-notch. We recently went in to get waders and met Kelston — wow, what incredible service! He really knew his stuff, offered great advice, and made us feel heard. I wish I could remember the name of the other team member in the fishing department — he was amazing too. Keep up the great work, team!

   I love Hunting & Fishing stores but the customer service here was terrible. Would rather stand behind the counter talking amongst themselves about their weekends antics. The store is large with huge range but I'd rather wait and shop at our local smaller shop where the service is impeccable.
