The famous Kiwi politeness is everywhere in New Zealand except in this store. The lady at the counter is the rudest person I have met in this country!

Located at The heart of Central city of Queenstown. They have got all variety of liquor, wine and beer. Walking distance from Accomodation and Shopping.
Walked in with a massive McDonald's order which I was already struggling to carry, with the intent to buy a bottle of wine as well and somehow carry the lot of it up the hill. Thank god, the lovely woman behind the counter took pity on me and offered a box big enough to carry it all. Magnificent service, my new favourite store.
Disgusted with the service. Got served by an older man who kicked me out after I told him I had a medical mask exemption... more mad at the way i was treated rather than the fact i was kicked out.
Spent more than $250 at this store today and similar to other reviews found the customer service abysmal ( the woman behind the counter ). What was even more off putting was a packet of chocolates we bought that had already been opened. The store is well stocked and inviting but the negative vibe is not worth a second visit . We suggest you go elsewhere.
Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. We had a great experience here! The guy behind the register was very helpful suggesting a great NZ pinot noir in my price range. . His coworker made a wonderful Ukrainian vodka suggestion. Their prices were much better than the other stores in town. I’ve been told that this is the locals shop. I definitely would recommend !
