   Windscreen Replacement with NOVUS in Dunedin – Outstanding Service and Quality A truck kicked up a rock that completely destroyed my windscreen — never a fun moment. Thankfully, I’m insured through MAS, and they’ve partnered with NOVUS for windscreen replacements. The whole process couldn’t have been easier. I didn’t have to submit a claim or chase paperwork — NOVUS handled everything directly with MAS, which was a huge relief. If you’ve ever had to replace a windscreen, you’ll know it can be a bit nerve-racking. You never really know if the aftermarket glass will match the quality of your original one. I drive a 2015 Subaru Outback and was quite particular about what I wanted, so I came into this with a lot of questions and concerns. I was lucky enough to work with Bayley at NOVUS, and honestly, he was incredible. I’m not the easiest customer — I like to understand all my options and ask a lot of questions before making a decision. Bayley took it all in stride, never rushed me, and went above and beyond to make sure I got the perfect replacement. After the install, he and the team even helped me sort out a few minor quirks with my car (nothing to do with the glass itself, just Subaru being Subaru). Now, a few months on, the new windscreen is holding up beautifully — no leaks, no fitment issues, no problems at all. In fact, I’d go as far as to say it might be better than the original OEM one that came with the car. If you’re in Dunedin and need a windscreen replacement, I can’t recommend NOVUS — and Bayley in particular — highly enough. Friendly, professional, and they truly care about getting it right.

   No details asked for regarding where the chip is located on windscreen. Hand me the keys and leave the vehicle with us. Insurance company knew where the chip was located and said they would email the details to repairer. Booked for 9.30am. Arrived at 9am and we were advised the job would be finished ready to collect at 10am. There was a novus patch over the chip. On arriving back to collect vehicle at 9.50am, The vehicle had not moved from where we parked it. We were then advised that they were 1 staff member short due to covid. (Could have been told this on our arrival earlier) The technician fixing the screen spoke with us and was trying to fix an already repaired chip and didn't find the novus patch over the correct chip until he cleaned the windscreen. We were never offered a refreshment or a restroom facility. Job completed by 10.45am. Not impressed.
