Got 100 pure beef sausages on short notice, these guys not only could do it but the sausages were amazing, a huge hit! Definitely recommend!
Bought the beef wellington, highly recommend them, just delicious served with a mushroom sauce. Will be buying them again.
I've never shopped with Thomson's butchery before but since they are one of the only butchers that are open on a Sunday in Tauranga, I stopped in to grab some sausages for the bbq. Boy, they were fantastic! The whole family loved them. I grabbed the Jalapeno and cheddar beef sausages and pork with cashew. I'll absolutely be back again soon to try the other flavours because these were outstanding. 10/10
Great service, thanks guys,But!! Spoke in person about an up coming BBQ for work and received a quote of: $1.70 per sausage and $2.50 per lamb chop. This sounds perfect, and fits within our budget. So I ordered 120 sausage and 40 lamb chops. Should be around $300, Right?? My total bill was $625?? As much as we like the product I think we will find a butcher with better math skills next time. This is a simple matter of poor portioning of the product. Sorry guys, I guess I should have gotten a written quote. 1 star Update; Thanks Kurt, Not expecting a refund, we paid for the wieght of meat we got. The company will reimburse my expense and all the excess will be frozen and stored for an upcoming event. Like I said, next time we'll do a written quote with a little more time to be prepared. Sausages were a huge hit at the BBQ and many asking where to find them. Once again not complaining about the products, just getting fleeced at the door. Will continue to recommend Thompson's when ever I can
The meat products are 10/10! However the macaroni cheese left me wanting, especially cheese. Super friendly staff, would highly recommend.
