Ordered some Biltong and a Father's Day gift pack. it arrived on time and the biltong was perfect (not too dry and enough fat). Was nice to enjoy the South African favorites in the gift pack :)
Today I went to this store, went to buy it, after taste testing it, RAW. BLOODY! disgusting, keep in mind. This tastes GROSS no spices, just PLAIN. RAW as I was disgusted by it, I immediately went to return it. I took 2 BITES. The immature staff was asking how many bites I took, I said 2, they said "okay, let's take 2 bites away from the price" I said no. I want all the money I paid for it back. Nope, say it was 72$, now I get 70$ back FROM 2 BITES! Im never buying here again, hope this helps, and big 5, fix your company and staff.
Worst operating hours possible, open for 3 and a half hours on Sundays? Droewors and biltong very hit and miss
Great biltong and wors. Loved the rugby mix. Staff were friendly, too. A little pricey but worth it.
Great rusks and dry wors but pricey and expired goods still lie on the shelf after notifying them. βOh reallyβ was the only response. Went back a week later. Still there. What a pity.

Called up to complain about the multiple bags of chips purchased being passed the best before date. Was told that the staff was told by the boss to relay to customers that this is a best before date not expiry . Clearly this complaint wasn't the first.The lady in question refused to even replace unopened bags with some dates being as old as December 2022. No warning to customers, and no discounted price. Poor service. Daylight robbery.
Very clean and neat shop ,friendly staff. Great biltong ,dry wors and variety of meat products groceries and candy
the biltong here is excellent! cabanossi to die for! try the chutney chips, im addicted! friendly service and a wide selection of South African foods. butchery section with south African meats and sausages. a big selection of South African candy and lollies. herbs and spices etc. if you're a South African person and you miss the taste of home, this is definitely the place to come to! convenient location in fashion island. usually parking nearby but the car park can get busy during peak hours.
