   As well travelled retirees we found the Tuscan Retreat perfect for a most enjoyable stay. Carol & Mace are wonderful hosts and treated us like family. We just loved their two very friendly and gentle dogs - Alfie and Lulu. Our room was perfect - beautifully appointed, superior linen and a most comfortable king size bed.

   Hosts Carol and Mace were very welcoming. They were both helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Even pool towels were offered when we used the swimming pool. We thoroughly enjoyed their company and that of their two friendly dogs. Felt very relaxed.

   We stayed with Carole and Mace and had a wonderful time. They are exceptional hosts and made us feel very welcome and relaxed. Everything about our stay was great, from the comfy beds, to the cleanliness of everything. The breakfast was wonderful. A nice touch was having a chocolate on the bed head each night. We would certainly recommend Tuscan retreat and would return without hesitation.

   This is a beautiful house with wonderful hosts. Carole was extremely welcoming with lots of positive energy despite just having knee surgery. Mace was also a very warm person and between them they run an excellent B&B. Recommended restaurants in the area which was much appreciated. Would highly recommend staying here.

   We visited Papamoa last weekend and stayed at the most wonderful B & B we have booked to date. Beautiful property of latest design mixed with Tuscan influence. Lovely quiet area. Every want catered for. We felt very much at home and Carol, Max and their wonderful pets. They both worked to provide a first class breakfast.Nothing seemed too much bother. Wonderful people. Shame it wasn't a longer stay.
