   This place has a bit of grandeur to it, however, it needs a little bit of tender loving care, and I guess that's how the staff pour tray themselves as being a little run down, but the place certainly has character and personality.

   Be sure to check your room beforehand if you are staying for more that a day because if you have problems they will just say that it will be fixed but it won’t happen. We stayed for a week and it was the worst experience so far. the shower was not working properly, the bathroom door of our room was broken, and there was no internet connection on our room, worst thing was when we went to complain ( politely) she looked at us as if she was angry and ignored us saying she was busy and after that it felt kind of awkward so we never said anything. We were planning to stay for 2-3 weeks but we left from there as soon as possible.

   We booked in here for 2 nights for a wedding. Unfortunately there was a mix up and they cancelled our booking for the Saturday night. Thankfully the lady behind the bar was able to organise a room for us. We were given a free drink while waited. This place is not really a hotel. It is also a hostel. I was very glad to have a shower and bathroom in our room as the reviews of communal areas was pretty bad The room was a sauna with no aircon in the summer. It was very very basic but at only $70/night I don’t think you could expect too much Staff were very friendly and the reason why we gave the stars
