   Purhased a laptop from a woman who sent it to Service Plus in late May for (unsuccessful) repair for not powering on. Service report said the motherboard needed replaced, non-economical repair, she chose to write it off, and was charged $90 for the assessment. My assessment of the laptop I received: - The bottom cover had been removed, the screws were gone. - The 1TB SSD and its screw were gone, on asking the seller, they neither requested or consented to its removal. - In my estimation there was no evidence it had been disassembled further for detailed inspection of the damaged area. The protective tape on the motherboard looked undisturbed. - I found a blown surface-mount fuse with a multimeter almost immediately which I replaced and the laptop powered on. Taking the storage hardware from a customer's computer without informing them, offering to compensate them, or providing any information as to how the data will be handled strikes me as dishonest and unprofessional. I would strongly advise against seeking repair services from this company. On reaching out through their support with the original job number my request was ignored.

   This was the second time I’ve brought my iPhone to Service Plus in Dunedin for a battery replacement, and I couldn’t be happier! After a bad and unfriendly experience with another Apple agent, I was lucky to switch to Service Plus—and it made all the difference. Tommy was incredibly friendly and helpful. He replaced my phone battery free of charge, and the whole process was smooth and hassle-free. I’m really satisfied with their service, and I highly recommend them. They’re the best in Dunedin!

   I went in the other day to Service Plus NZ thinking that my computer needed hardware servicing, but it turns out that it was a software issue and didn't need the repair I thought it did. The staff there were very patient with me and very kind. I will be going again if my computer actually has a real problem *embarrassed face*

"They went that extra mile" should be "they went over the horizon" to ensure my MBPro was repaired in time to allow me to meet flight bookings. Communication was excellent !
