   After years and years and years of other treatments for scoliosis and back and joint pain from chiropractors, osteopaths, shiatsu practitioners, acupuncturists, physiotherapists, cranio sacral practitioners, PIDDS, gym instruction and another Bowen therapist, I finally found the relief, release, freer movement and the magical fingers and knowledge of the exuberant Louise Parkin and her combination of Bowen therapy and PIDDS when visiting Hawkes Bay and I am so very grateful. I am out of chronic pain and enjoying freer movement for the first time in years. It has given me a completely new lease on life. Thank you, Louise.    Louise is amazing and so helpful. I was skeptical about Bowen Therapy at first, but was referred by a friend so I tried it. And I'm so glad I did. I was supported to heal a chronic sciatica / lower back / hip issues. I have tried other therapies, physio / osteo / etc and they are all good but bowen therapy just seems to work on deeper healing. Louise is flexible, helpful and knowledgeable. I go back regularly for tune-ups now!

   Lower back pain along with my knee locks,when i lie flat on my back whether it's on the bed or couch. With your gentle hand techniques that helps free up the locked tension in my body. Louise also sends me online video exercises movements to do at home to help. I walk into my Bowen Therapy with tension in my lower back, knee,neck and walk out feeling so much better and taller!!!

   I started seeing Louise June 2021 with pain in both hips due to repetitive strain at work. The relief was incredible after just one session. I continued to go to Louise to get my whole body lined up and I felt a million bucks after 4 sessions. I am currently seeing Louise after a bike crash, ribs, back, sturnam, shoulder injury. My rhomboid muscle has been really graunchy and niggly, slowly but surely Louise is getting me back "on the bike" lets say. Louise begins each session by observing the body alignment and posture, she uses very gentle hand techniques to help free up stuck passage ways in the body. Louise provided me with online videos, customised exercise movements to do from home to help free up the body. Love your work Louise!
