   Sent my husband to do his finger print and while I was on the phone with my husband, I could hear the lady at the counter very clearly being so rude when my husband had only said they were looking for the finger print place because they drove from Gisborne. Husband obviously knows his appointment was at 9am. He was only enquiring if they were at the right place. There was no need for her to respond nasty.

   Do not purchase RUC or rego from here. The lady working at the counter messed up my purchase and reprinted the same RUC and rego licenses from the previous year and still charged me $900. After going back THREE times to sort this out I asked the lady to reprint the rego sticker and she said "how am I supposed to know its for this vehicle, it could be for any" after explaining that she was the one who did my transaction last week I asked how much it would cost for the certain vehicle to have 12 months rego and she confirmed the exact same price that was on my receipt.... Then she told me to call VTNZ myself to sort this out. After contacting VTNZ they asked the post office lady to call them which she was huffing and puffing about and then finally called them herself. I do see quite a few reviews on their staff being rude and unhelpful so they clearly haven't sorted out their poor customer service. I recommend to go to the Hastings Post Office instead

   My favourite little post shop! Daphne behind the counter always makes things a breeze wether I have a bill to pay or something to send, she knows what customer service is and is a great asset to this post shop. It's always lovely to pop in and see her friendly face.

   Staff seem put out by any question you ask them. Wanting to post an item seemed to annoy the person behind the counter. In fact, I get the feeling they would prefer there were no customers at all. If you don't like dealing with people, don't work in a customer service role.

   I had filled out my paper at and reached the till at 4:58pm. They said I had to come again in the morning. They need to change their closing time from 5pm to 4:45pm or something. Rather than waste my time.
