Went there yesterday and brought a pie and sausage roll that had been in there for days. Dirty rip offs
I enjoy this shop a lot, and have been going here for around 3 years. My biggest issue is the fact they overcharge you sometimes. One day the price of a product would be $10 and the next they charge you $30 for the same exact product and when you go back a third time it's back to its original price. They've done this to my family and I on numerous occasions and when you ask about about it, they get angry or just dismiss you entirely (except for the older lady, she's very sweet). It's honestly a shame, especially when they're not very helpful when you ask about being overcharged or the sudden price changes.
Great range on offer, homely and wholesome. It serves as a rock solid dairy and I’d say it excels beyond it too. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not an expert on fried chicken, but their chips are good and perfectly scratch that itch that only dairy chips can, and the curry sauce is DIVINE! (I can’t stress that enough I love it, get the curry sauce). Honestly it’s worth popping in just for that. Woman behind the counter is a delight, and the place has an understated politeness; not keeping you if you’re in a rush, but rewarding you with warmth if you want a chat. 10/10 love it.
This is the second time this is happened with this new lady she has literally filled my bag of chips half way. like how do you even do that and think it’s ok to to give a customer half a bag of what they ordered, let alone doing it twice. I love this place and I’ve been going for years and had no problems with the food or the people but now I do( that photo was taken before I ate any food but after I shook it and they all fell down even lower then what they were before)
Did a Uber order today and specifically asked they are cooked fresh and hot. Chips were soggy warm and chicken were burnt and missing my gravy pottle. So disappointed. Take more pride in your food. We pay enough as is.
Their chicken and chips are good value meals when you're pressed for time and there's the essentials for when the supermarkets too overwhelming.
Shopped their all the time spent many hundreds asked for small credit for one day..said NO .. terrible takeaways..shop to small .. grumpy indians..keep away from here .. Ps chicken not cooked properly Drive on.....
Old lady in there is so rude and has no costumer service skills. and overcharges. Chips were under seasoned and undercooked. Pies are always cold in the middle. Gross!
