Stayed in the single room cabin for 2 nights. Cosy and warm at night as it has a heat pump and electric blanket if needed. Very kind hosts with great knowledge of the best food/wine and activities around the Hawkes Bay Area. Will definately be back to stay!
Love the Villa inside and out. Hosted our 14th Birthday Team Dinner last night. It was wonderful having two lounges so I could set up presents from Montessori 3-6 and from me on the big coffee table so the teaching team could collect them on arrival and then have platters, more couches, and seating around the fire in the other lounge whilst getting drinks and nibbles from the devine open plan kitchen with the most storage I have ever experienced. Love the spaciousness, the colourful door into the sunroom this morning and the sun into the lounge beyond lunchtime as I worked on our Strategic Plan. Funky lights throughout and two beautiful big trees out the kitchen window. Trendy main bathroom and great to have 3 toilets in total. Great place to gather for groups, team building retreats and family get togethers. Will book again for 2026 and beyond. It is so cool I would love to live here and make it my home.
Hi Mark and Terre here, We stayed 3 nights in the studio. Staff were friendly and catered to our needs, studio met our expectations. All up pleasant break away. Central to everything.
My family and I had a wonderful stay in the homestead. There was more than enough space and the rooms were just what we needed. The facilities were perfect for our big family. If I could make one suggestion… hand rails. Support for elderly and less able, to help walk up the stairs at the entry way would make things easier. Otherwise definitely a 10/10 accommodation.
Booked the 2 bedroom cabin for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Such a beautiful place, very friendly hosts. Close to everything we needed. Next time we are back in New Zealand we will definitely be making a trip down to Clive and staying here. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would. Thank you again for your hospitality. Our boys will definitely miss seeing you cute dog walking around.
We had a wonderful stay at this place we had the largest unit which suited our needs perfectly! Was such a blessing to have a full kitchen and fridge freezer while away! The facilities were well maintained and electric blankets were the icing on the cake! We will definatley be back :)
Nice and cosy little sleep out complete with toilet bathroom, kitchen and bed. Nothing fancy, just enough to get you rested while you explore the Hawkes bay area. We arrived late for our stay but were guided with clear instructions in how to check in and out. Our negatives we found were that the pillow cases smelt of wet damp clothing that hadn't been dried? (not the clean fabric softener we were expecting to smell like in most motels) luckily there was a spare in the cupboard. We also spotted a couple cockroaches in the bathroom which we had to throw out... I would however still stay here again as it's good value. If only the TV was a bit bigger and had cable or was an Android TV to complete. Thanks for the stay.
Retro decor in the lounge dining room. Great place to relax with friends. Friendly staff great service. Outdoor decking lovely for summer. Plenty of parking out the back. Quiz nite and other games nights. Great social place to catch up with friends.
The service was outstanding very friendly and welcoming. It had a very family feel. I never felt like i was being watched and i could completely relax. The place is beautiful the villa feels like home. Would highly recommend staying for the night or even the weekend will defiantly be going back
Amazing campsite, amazing owners. Nice and peaceful in the evening. Powered sites with hedgerow each side. Great cooking facilities and shower facilities. Best place in hawkes bay to stay with easy access to Napier and Hastings! Perfect!
