Wasnβt able to provide a childβs haircut on a Saturday. In regards to your reply, what an disingenuous response. You have staff, you took the phone off a staff member to say you are the owner and you donβt cut children's hair, not all together mind you, just not on Saturdays. You canβt expect to not be judged on that. It is well within your capabilities and other salons capabilities to provide that service. With rostering other staff for example. My review stands. I think itβs poor business to unwilling to adapt and offer full services during the times you open. Feel free to disagree.
Highly recommend the owner Laura Marham is the best hairdresser I have ever met. I am a qualified hairdresser of 14 years who has worked at a few top 5 star hair salons in Hawkes Bay, Auckland and Australia. Working with hundreds of hairdressers, I have only met a couple of hairdressers who I would let cut, style and colour my hair with Laura being my top preference. Not only is Laura a beautiful person inside and out but she is a great and loyal mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend. Laura is very skillful, knowledgeable, honest, genuine, giving and understanding but the most caring which shows in her work. Over 20 years ago I had the honour of working with Laura for a few years. Laura gained high standard qualifications for hairdressing in England and continues to grow her skills, knowledge and expertise in New Zealand. We have remained life long friends and I am blessed to know her and her beautiful family. Laura is a perfectionist in general so anyone she hires must be of good standards to the best of their abilities. I have recommended many of my old clients, friends and family members to get their hair done with Laura or her team and I continue to recommend her till this day forward. I would like to highly recommend Hair Envy. I had the privilege and pleasure of having the stylist Shannon cut and style my hair, for the very first time, as well as receiving highlights/foils. She did a spot on job that looks amazing and I get compliments every day now! The staff, professionalism, knowledge and outstanding results β 10/10. I would also like to mention that Envy hair salon is a hidden jewel. Their unique stylish dΓ©cor with multiple, large comfortable rooms all artistic designed, was such a pleasant surprise. I've been to 10 different hairstylists and barbers over my [currently] 6-year "reign" in Hastings, and Hair Envy has been the most expensive so far (by only $3) and IT WAS WORTH IT! A young, yet qualified, locally-certified hair technician looked after me. She took her time, awe-inspired me with her hair knowledge and passion, produced the highest quality work and gave me THE BEST HAIRCUT I've had in Hastings! Wonderful experience. Talented staff. Highly recommended.
Even though the signage says no appointment needed you should definitely book. Waited for 45 mins as it was busy, finally my turn and some people show up right at that moment. The hair dresser says "your late" then they go ahead and take them anyway. They didn't look at me or even ask me if it was ok. I checked their Google reviews and I saw a review earlier with this similar type behavior so I left as I had run out of time anyway and didn't want to risk it wasting more time. Sorry for the bad review but I don't like being treated that way.
Awesome job guys very happy with the service. My amazing new hair cut is the best I've had in ages thank you so much you guys rock you do an amazing job will be back for my next hair cut won't be going anywhere but hair envy well done team your work hard.
Great friendly service with a smile every time i go in. The staff do an amazing job every time my partner or myself get our hair cut. The colours they add to my partners hair allways look absolutly awesome. Massive 5 stars
