Fantastic Cascade Palms! They looked even better than we could have hoped - especially considering we purchased them sight unseen online. We're absolutely stoked. On top of that, the communication was excellent and delivery was seamless. We'd happily trade again!
The guy who served us was awesome - super helpful with what would work on our site. Great price on sale plants and good quality. Compared to the service we got at another place down the road (where the guy didn’t give us a look even after 45 mins in there) we couldn’t fault this place. Website was helpful as could clearly see what was in stock and the price and size.
We have enjoyed dealing with coast palms on a regular basis , Janine has provided ongoing advice and knowledge on the various plants and palms we use for the last few years on landscape projects. Always happy to accommodate whether it be for delivery’s or sourcing large quantities . Plants are always in great condition,

I wish I could give zero stars. The customer service here is beyond awful—rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful.The owner acted like my husband was bothering her. No patience, no professionalism, just straight-up attitude just your typical Karen. To make things worse, the plants I purchased were in horrible condition at $270 each wilted, yellowing, and clearly neglected. Within days, they were dying despite proper care nothing like the photos on the website I’ve bought plants from many places, and I’ve never seen such poor quality. It’s clear they don’t care about their products or their customers. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values their customers and sells healthy, thriving plants. I won’t be coming back, and I’d advise anyone else to stay far away.

A bit of a shame they have a company policy against taking photos of plants for their online customers who are unable to view (due to lockdown restrictions). I've had no issues with other businesses doing this for their customers, understandable we want to see the plant before buying. Since COVID-19, the indoor plant industry has boomed with more people stuck inside and wanting to spruce up their interior spaces. Companies that can provide the best e-commerce and remote customer service are the ones who stay afloat in these trying times. I do hope you can reconsider this policy. All the best.
Do NOT ask Coast Palms too many questions. Do NOT change your mind. Do NOT ask for free delivery. Wow, I have never been treated in such a despicable way! Whilst the service and advice started off well, the owner Janine seemed to get more and more worked up the more time we spent purchasing more items. I made the mistake of asking for free delivery on our second order ($3000) as it was being sent with existing palms being held for us ($2000). For a third potential order, we changed our minds about two large palms due to advice strongly recommending against buying them due to them being old, damaged, second-hand stock that would need to be craned in. She went ballistic and refused to sell us alternative palms which cost nearly double the price! She ranted and raved because I also asked whether there would be an additional delivery charge for adding on the two new palms to the same delivery! She emailed "I feel as though I am madly running around in ever decreasing circles to try and cater for you. It is exhausting and depressing. There is so much changing of minds. I cannot do it any more." Wow, what a lack of customer-focused attitude! She also said we didn't appreciate that she was looking after the palms we have paid her in full for. Yes, we did, however the two main ones totalling nearly $1500 had been there for many years, so they would likely have been looking after them anyway. We tried our best to be good customers. All my emails to her were polite and responsive. Payments were made promptly and I advised when doing so. When she asked me to phone at "8:45am sharp" I obliged. To anyone else we would be great customers, but not to her. Coast Palms regularly spend money advertising a 15% off sale, so why deeply upset a good local customer buying numerous palms and wanting to buy more? Having spent all this money with her, she refused to sell us any more items! Unbelievable. Despite literally leaving us shaking, I sent her a nice reply as she had our palms and our money. Expecting an apology, she instead said she could sell the two additional large palms to us but only at full price. We wanted to support a local business but we ended up having to get the two large palms freighted down from Auckland. We would never set foot in Coast Palms whilst Janine is the owner, the thought of her treatment of us even many months later still makes my blood boil! If you can fit in with Janine's way of doing business, fine, otherwise buyer beware!
Really enthusiastic, happy, helpful staff. Amazing selection, well stocked and laid out. The plants I got from here were well-priced, and very healthy - I've had some of them over a year now and they are thriving.
