   The Lodge is great for a bigger party - we had a special family occasion and it went so well in no small way because of all staying together for the weekend in such a beautiful property with large bedrooms and great communal areas inside and out The whole process of booking, sorting out arrangements and then quality of the facilities was superb.    We used this lodge for a school sports trip and it was perfect for what we needed! Close to the athletics track, amazing facilities that meant our team was occupied and the room and bed configuration meant that all our athletes had enough space. Kate and Dan were great hosts, we had everything we needed and their communication before and during our stay was great. If we have another sports tournament in this area we will definitely stay again!

   Stayed here for work purposes and it was one of the best stays I've had in Hawke's Bay! Kate was great to work with during the booking process and made sure our group was well looked after! The house was clean, big, and modern and had everything you needed. I would definitely come back again :)

   I cannot recommend the Lodge on St George highly enough. We recently held a family reunion here and the facility was perfect. Very well laid out and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. We accommodated 42 people very comfortably. The special touches by Kate of a birthday cake, flowers and decorations was just so lovely. This is such a great facility with beautiful surrounding gardens. Highly recommend for any event.

   Awesome place for a large family gathering. Plenty of room inside and out, beds were super comfy, and very clean and tidy. Large kitchen well stocked with crockery, cutlery, and all kitchen appliances needed. It worked extremely well for our extended family of 3 generations with so much on offer. The owner was very friendly and great communication at all times. Highly recommend the Lodge to large groups. A huge asset to Hawke’s Bay.

   Just like give a big thank you to Di and Kate of Lodge at St. George's, wonderful host, very welcoming and people orientated. The premises were extraordinary warm, safe, comfortable, clean and peaceful. Everything at hands length right to recycling bins. Price wise is very affordable, location is not far from the town and very ideal for any groups wanting to find a place to stay. Wish you all the best, a Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.    We stayed at the Lodge for a family weekend away. A group of 20 that included children. Our children loved the Lodge, lots of outdoor space to run around in and when it's bedtime, bedrooms can be closed off from the hustle and bustle of the living areas. Great accommodation, great facilities and loads of space. Recommended
