   This really is a turn of the century show field. Minimal buildings but I do have to say that the permanent toilets are clean and functional. Much better than the rental Lu.

   Horse of the Year 2025 in Havelock North . The Hawke’s Bay present an excellent week on entertainment showing the skills of horse/rider combination. The best of New Zealand competing for the title. Improvement is required, I think; in the programme schedule, the lack of information and times and the announcements at the smaller rings were difficult to follow. The eventing cross country had no speakers in the main spectator area, nor a screen to see the event for the jumps we could not see. Head down following Evoevents on your phone is not good for most of the spectators. Please look at these points and help make is more user friendly for the paying spectators.

   Awesome place, especially for Fiesta of Lights nearing Christmas Day. Great place to spend time with family, $7 entry fee which i think is too much, $4 or less is much more reasonable.
