The best garage in Hawkes Bay - wouldn’t trust anyone else. Dave and his team consistently helpful, kind and know what they are doing. Never had any problems with the service and never not trusted they were working with my best interests.
They broke my dip stick, said it was already broken, and made me pay for a new one. I know it wasn't broken because I had checked my oil before I dropped it off. I dropped my vehicle off at 8:30, I was the last vehicle to be tended too and had to pick it up as they were closing, terrible time management, considering they said it would be done by 10, so I delayed my start time at work, only to be hanging around while people were driving in & getting seen to first. The reception lady was arguing with her girlfriend in the car park before I went in, and then she had a terrible attitude when she finally decided to do her job. Not happy at all with the whole outcome.

Overcharged and excessively priced. Recently had a car screen repaired, and it turned out that only the wire was damaged. Surprisingly, the invoice only mentions the cost of replacing the wire, which amounted to $390. Notably, the repair shop did not even bother to consult me about the price before proceeding with the procedure. Additionally in that price I can have the new screen.
If you own a European vehicle see these Guys !! Out of three quotes for the same job these guys were 50% less expensive. Service and the team there are great !!
I went in for a low oil pressure alert ended up paying 8000 dollars my invoice is a fabrication and they still have not given the correct invoice
This garage is a place that I can trust that they wont try & RIP me off by charging for things that dont or didn't need fixing because I'm a female & they are very accommodating. I highly recommend Auto Super Shoppe to all.
THEY ARE VERY DISHONEST. We only asked for an oil change, but they did the whole car serviced without asking. (The car had recently had a full service). I called them twice, and was told I'd get a call back which never happened, so I walked in and talked to two receptionists, and they both claimed they checked if we wanted only oil change, and we agreed for the full service, which is NOT TRUE. One lady said no one ever comes there for only an oil change, the other lady said an oil change means the full service, in which case, why would they need to ask if we required a full service? Not only were they dishonest, they were disrespectful. Would not recommend. UPDATE- I got a call from David, and we agreed on a refund for the unwanted service. He was very professional and I appreciate the quick handling of this matter.
Ripped us off for the second time.. gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time and gave them another chance only for it to happen again. Took my wife's mini cooper in for a WOF and get hit with a $250 bill! Charged me for working on the car without notifying us first! Being a engineer myself I'd prefer to have the work done properly! Very annoyed
