   A running theme of HDC operated pools are stink attitudes and lack of manners from staff. Very disappointed. Will avoid these pools much like the Clive pools. You should too

   Good pool, large changing rooms and swimming equipment to use. It was frustrating that they only have hot showers. After a hard swim session, and when it’s 29 degrees outside the building, a cold shower options helps us all stop sweating. I left the changing room almost as wet as when I jumped out the pool.

   It would be cool if there was at least 1 lane for us who can't afford to do swimming lessons with our kids. Who want to free swim with our kids. At 3 o clock just after school finishes, I don't know why we cant have 1 lane meanwhile all the other lanes are being occupied. Instead I've had to turn my son down a few times due to this reason. Don't see why the whole pool big and small pool needs to be occupied only for swimming lessons

   I'm sorry to say but some of the staff are very welcoming but I have noticed that some of the instructors are not. Inter action with swimmers could be a lot better.

   Swim Heretaunga is a good facility for indoor swimming. Particularly if you are training and swimming laps. In the past it has been wonderful for family swimming, however with its current limited public hours this is becoming more difficult. The facility has one 25 meter heated lane pool, and a short kids pool. The baby pool with the fountain was removed some time ago, so toddlers can no longer romp in the water without an adult holding them.
