   Shocking service. Pre-booked taxi to pick up at 12.30am as it was NYE as we knew it would be busy. Called them at 1am as they still weren’t there… They just brushed me off saying they were busy and I’d just have to wait! I said, that’s why it pre-booked because I knew they would be busy. Unbelievable. Ended up walking home with my wife and 9yr old son. From Kaikorai to Caversham. Got home at 2.45am. Don’t bother… use Uber.

   Dunedin Taxi's used to be a great company to book/deal with until they became nationalized now they're a complete joke, you make a specific booking with them over 24 hours in advance only to be told 10 minutes after your selected time, the vehicle you required will not be in service for another 30 minutes to an hour

   Absolutely useless customer service. Wait 10 mins after ordering for taxi driver to answer and then wait another 20 minutes after confirming only to have to call up again to find out that taxi driver cancelled on us. Useless service if needed.

   Just because it lets you book doesn't mean a taxi is coming. If no taxi is coming 9/10 they will not bother to tell you this. Tonight I called after 25 minutes to check a taxi is on, was reassured there is one. Follow up over an hour from initially booking - am only then informed there is actually no taxi coming! It's now 1am and just above freezing. Really unorganized, unprofessional and frankly unsafe.

   As we neared a taxi parked in the street it just took off. Saw 2 more across the road and as we approached the 1st taxi to ask if they were available he said use the next driver and immediately drove off as did the second taxi. Will never recommend them or use them when we go back to Dunedin.

   Terrible service. Charged $62 to travel about 8 kilometers - almost double what was on the meter because of some suspicious fees that were impossible to know about until after the EFTPOS transaction went through. Almost triple the price of an Uber

   You would think their would be taxi service at 11am on a Wednesday in the octagon but I got told their were no taxis in service while sitting at a taxi stand,i had to walk home! and when I got back my flatmate had been waiting 40 mins for his taxi he booked 3 days earlier!! he missed his appointment... useless! Don't be surprised if they're closed down

   Booked a taxi for my wife and kids specifically asking for a van since there was six passenger's. Two separate cabs were sent which meant we had to separate our toddlers in each cab without any supervision with strangers. One of the cab drivers, was really rude blaming my wife for their own management and communication error from the booking operator. Would never use their service again after such an awful experience despite, being a long term client . Ended up catching a bus instead.
