I had an order to Dunedin that left Hamilton on Thursday and did not arrive in Chch until late Saturday night. Meaning, though, that it was in Chch on Monday morning as business opened. It arrived in Dunedin Tuesday morning, but won't be delivered to my house until Wednesday at earliest. Each leg of this journey has taken longer than I would have expected. I called the local office and the second person I spoke with (not the first person) was helpful in explaining some of the reason behind this. But it would be nice if headquarters would put in place some changes to the website to allow a redirect--better communication with the person receiving the delivery might lead to more efficient service. Not doing this affects the relationship between the shipper and their customers, and that may end up affecting your own business.

you cannot pay for freight unless in person so there is no ability to pay online or with visa card. The hamilton depot doesnβt answer the phone it never ever connects through even when transferred from the head office. the staff at dunedin PBt are great and super helpful but systems are a shambles re contact

45 minutes waiting on a call. No indication of call wait time. Finally get through and parcel that was collected 3 days ago is still at the Auckland depot waiting to be manifested to the south island. I realise its a busy time after New year's, but these guys bring new meaning to the term hopeless.

They sent my package to the wrong address and it was signed. They opened investigation and admitted they sent it to the wrong place. They say they tried to get it back for redelivery. Then delayed replies. Now the case is "C.O.B"(close of business), with no responsibility taken. Just told me to reconnect to sender and they may send replacement... what a joke this company is. No working ethic at all. Don't recommend. Surprised they have 2.2 average review...says it all.

They took over 5 days to send a parcel from Auckland to Dunedin, only for the incompetent courier driver to drive past my place, marking my parcel as "Delivery Attempted, Card Left". I received no card, no knock on the door and to top it all of my parcel has an "Authority to leave" on it. It's completely unacceptable especially considering the driver refused to come back and deliver it today because he wasn't in the area, it's his mistake, his problem. However, to the Dunedin branch and the ladies at customer service. Thank you for being understanding and professional.

I would NEVER use them voluntarily. They sound all good on the phone but the Dunedin depot just pays lip service to customer service. A delivery is now 2 weeks late & has missed Xmas. If they canβt staff correctly, they shouldnβt take on the jobs.

The one star rating is generous, appalling service and processes. Call center staff in Auckland are the exception to this, and I feel for them. I would rather chop my own legs off than use PBT ever. A delivery to an address 280km away, heads on a 400km joy ride in the opposite direction, their tracking software should be donated to a museum.

Ordered a package that was packaged in extra durable packaging, yet somehow PBT managed to damage the package. On top of this, they did not deliver the package, they held onto it for over a week with no contact, card etc. When contacting them, I got advised to call the seller to request them send me a new product. Extremely dissatisfied with the service

Useless, slow, and unreliable. Parcel's been at the depot or with the driver for about 5 days now. Call the 0800 number goes to Auckland, ask them to transfer you to Dunedin, no one picks up the phone. Call the Dunedin number directly, no one picks up the phone. Rang the 0800 number again and the lady said the parcel was with the driver all day long and should be delivered between 5 and 7 PM or by 11 AM the next day. Didn't happen. Wasted the entire day waiting but no one showed up. Meanwhile New Zealand Courier delivered me items that were worth $3.00 in 2 days. I ordered after this one, got the delivery before this one. Best not to use these guys by choice. PBT stands for 'Probably Best To' as in "Probably best to use DHL or NZC."

Customer assistance for the toll free number as well as the local branch must be rated very highly for their efficient service, professionalism, courteous manner and very helpful attitude. PBT in NZ is the best courier service that I have engaged with the past couple of years!
