    I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I need to share my experience. I used my Total Mobility card for a short trip and asked if the driver could wait a couple of minutes while I collected an order. Other drivers in the past have been happy to do this (and I still pay for the ride regardless), but this driver said the ride was over and that I’d need to book another taxi, which left me stranded. When I called back, I was initially told there was a taxi only 2 km away. About five minutes later, they called me back to say there were β€œno taxis in Hastings” (even though I had just gotten out of one). I ended up waiting nearly 20 minutes sitting on the gutter before giving up and paying for an Uber I couldn’t afford. Very distressing for someone with mobility needs. I hope the service improves for others in future

    Absolutely would not recommend. Too bad we can't put negative stars. Booked a week in advance, took our money, cancelled with no notifications whatsoever and refunded our money. Left stranded trying to get to the airport early in the morning.

    Arrived in Hawkes Bay airport and there was no taxi drivers around with a big enough vehicle. Luckily Ravi, rego QBL582 helped us to call a maxi-taxi when all of the other drivers chose not to help when they realised they weren’t getting the trip. Thanks Ravi, you made the company you work for a new customer. A+++ Ravi, thanks mate

    I wish I had read the reviews here before booking. I booked a return trip a day ahead and asked for a confirmation text. The guy who took my booking said he will send me a confirmation text, but he didn't. The one-way trip went smoothly... until the return taxi didn't show up, and I didn't receive any message from the driver. I called the call centre and was told that they hadn't actually booked the return trip, despite my repeated confirmation during the initial booking call. I quickly booked an Uber instead, but the call centre lady Fiona said she will send me a driver in five minutes. Thinking that the taxi would arrive sooner, I decided to cancel my Uber trip, even though it came with a fee. Big mistake! The driver arrived after half an hour, not five minutes as promised, and I had to wait in the cold without knowing when the driver would actually arrive. If Fiona had been honest about the delay, I would have stuck with my Uber booking and returned faster and cheaper. I asked the call centre for the name of the guy who took my booking to file a complaint, but they refused to give it. Now, after reading the other reviews, I realise that this is their usual service, and it has been like this for years! I'm shocked that a taxi company can't even manage bookings and arrive on time. This company needs a serious change. Not to mention, Fiona was exceptionally rude, and I was still charged the full amount without any apology. This incident seriously ruined my day and messed up my schedule. I chose this company, thinking they would be more reliable and arrive on time to accomodate my schedule, but unfortunately, that was not the case. It's a shame that a taxi company can be even less reliable than Uber, while also being more expensive and failing to provide basic services.

    Ordered 2 taxis the day before to arrive to take is to the airport. First car arrived as we pulled away in an Uber 20 minutes later. Never saw second car. If you book a taxi the day before to go to the airport, you don't expect it to be 20+ minutes late.

    In the past I have had excellent service from HB Cooperative taxis. However, on this occasion I booked a pick-up 24 hours in advance and the taxi failed to turn up. No apology when I rang, just told it was a "busy morning". Isn't that why you book in advance?? I followed up with an email of complaint and have had no response. We do have other choices, so this company is on notice after being a loyal customer for years.
