   "I don't need your business" I've been to Intus before and my experience was amazing, but in July I visited Intus to see Dr Kate van Harselaar - Gynecologist, and my experience took a turn for the worst. I had seen another Gynecologist prior to seeing Dr Kate - Due to my condition and level of pain I tried everything to get an appointment with a Gynecologist. After my initial consultation with another Gynecologist, I decided to still keep my appointment with Dr Kate, as I was extremely unsure about options I was given and was hoping a second opinion would help. I decided to be honest with Dr Kate about seeing another Gynecologist and share everything with her, not that I had to but, I was there for a second opinion.. And thats where the consultation took a turn, she clearly stated "I don't need your business" she became very defensive and stated that she is the best, and for that I'm very happy for her. But, it was a very uncomfortable consultation and she even said that the consultation was "interesting", and that felt a bit uncalled for. She rarely gave me a chance to finish my sentences and if I have a choice, I will never visit again.

   Bit late in posting this but I had a colonoscopy in May. The receptionist was lovely, the nurse who greeted me was lovely, she took my details. The procedure was a bit delayed but I was kept in a private warm room. Dr Kyle Hendry was so kind, and so informative. The other ladies in the procedure room were also so kind to me. It was done so quickly, they fed me afterwards and made sure I was okay. Overall experience was good.

   I saw Dr Deborah Wright at Intus Dunedin, Deborah is the most caring and gentle doctor I’ve ever met, I was well looked after and I have gone from 7/10 pain to 0. The Intus team are very helpful and accommodating with appointments, you won’t be disappointed with your Intus experience.
