These guys are bloody awesome. Genuinely decent humans, they’ll go the extra mile and help you find that something special. If I could give them six stars I would. Don’t pass them by. You won’t regret it.
Best liquor store in town. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were helpful with getting up high Chartreuse down Great stock and nice store layout. Recommend!
I’ve been in New Zealand for two and a half months and have been to over 30 breweries and bought beer in countless grocery/liquor stores and haven’t been ID’d once, because I’m 30 years old and I don’t look anywhere close to 18. The cashier here wouldn’t sell me beer because I didn’t have my passport and I wasn’t going to walk 25 minutes back to where it was at to get it. Absolutely ridiculous. I had my ID from the states, which isn’t valid here for buying alcohol, but still, it’s something. I haven’t even been ID’d in the states for years because again, I don’t look anywhere close to 18. Use your common sense, it doesn’t take a genius.

These guys are amazing! The kind woman let me bring in my puppy and my dog, gave them treats and pats, it was awesome! She also helped me find everything I needed, gave me her card, and said if I needed to come back (2.5hr car trip for us) just to call and she will set my order aside for us. All in all it was an amazing visit! Thank you!!
Horrible Lady with bad service and disgusting attitude, my mask fell on the ground outside so I didn’t want to put it back on obviously because that’s gross, was going in to get my favourite ginger beer, she then made a massive scene in front of 20 other customers, snatched the box off me because I nicely explained why i’m not wearing the mask then she told me to leave. All for some cold that you get a tiny fever, she’s got a problem. Am never going back, don’t recommend!!!
Best liquor store in Dunedin hands down. Amazingly friendly and knowledgeable staff, they make you feel welcome in the store and are helpful with questions and suggestions. Great range of alcohol and wine and probably the best place for beer in Dunedin. Taps rotate frequently with the latest offerings of the best breweries in New Zealand. If you are in Dunedin you shouldn't go anywhere else.
Excellent range of wine and spirits but have to say this is absolutely the best place for beer in the lower South Island . Fresh beer on tap from a revolving who's who of NZ breweries and friendly knowledgeable staff who have forgotten more than I know about beer. A wonderful selection of bottled/canned beer that just amazed an American beer enthusiast I took there. Great service, awesome beer, enough said.
