The best live band venue, Plenty of history, huge dance floor and bands playing thurs to Saturday, Roy Brown the owner is rather Iconic too
One of the best and longest running Venues in New Zealand Roy and his team really know how to do it well I always have a great night and don't wanna leave every time they also have one of the biggest selections of beers
Traveled from New Plymouth to see some bands play here, it was awesome. Friendly staff and patrons, great place for live music. Can't wait to go back. If I lived in Napier I'd come here every weekend!
Awesum nite. Great band and crowd. Great to see the Cabana Rocking again. 1 of the few places left to catch real life NZ in action.

The best venue in Napier!! We hosted a private party and we're treated like royalty. Roy will look after you, he's kind, generous with his time, genuine and will help you to make any event work. I cannot speak more highly of the staff, they were attentive, efficient and great at creating a welcoming fun vibe for the guests. Everyone left feeling like they had the best night ever! Hawkes Bay is so lucky it has such a place for musicians, bands, and events. If you do go in make sure you purchase Roy's book "There's no such thing as a bad song" full of inspirational quotes, this book is not for your library or your coffee table but should be permanently placed at your bedside to read every morning to start your day right! I cannot wait to host or attend another event here! xx
If you go to a venue at the Cabana you are sure to come away convinced it's the place in Napier that has a great atmosphere I love people watching you can be there on your own maybe lonely, but NOT at the Cabana, people there are fun. Roy the Manager tries very hard to bring in a wide range of entertainment for your taste. You don't !! go anywhere in Hawkes Bay for a good night out on the run unless you visit The Cabana Shakespeare Road
Had a great time here listening to awesome music. Amazing history on the walls too that bring back many memories. Has been over 30 years since I was last here and is smaller than I remembered but still has great atmosphere
