I walked in and asked for a full set of acrylics. She said come back at 3:20pm I came back and they sat me in a chair. I then waited 15 minutes before anyone came over to me. She didn’t apologise for the wait and put the extensions on, then disappeared to another customer. No communications at all, another 15 minutes later I then got another lady who also didn’t apologise for the wait. I payed so much for chrome and a French tip I couldn’t believe it! And the job that they did is absolutely shocking. I’m so upset with my nails. It’s not until I got out of the shop and looked at them properly I really noticed how bad they were and I didn’t want to go back in and complain as I didn’t wanted to be treated the way I did again

Very busy on a Sunday, clearly popular. I had a gel manicure with extensions and a gel pedicure. Both were well done and an overall efficient, friendly service.

Went in for a gel mani and pedi with simple nail art on two fingers. $130 for gel mani and ped, $10 per finger for simple candy cane nail art, so $150 altogether. My appointment was for 330pm. They queue you up and sit you in a pedi chair until the water in the bowl goes cold whilst they deal with other people. My pedicure was started at 4pm it was disjointed as the therapist moved between multiple clients, the same happened with the manicure, I was left sitting and waiting whilst other lie to were dealt with - the therapists were friendly. The actual nail service was average. No massage - some quick application of lotion the lower leg maybe 30 secs total and nothing but oil on the hands. This was the biggest waste of over two hours for a mani and pedi to date. The only bonus here is location as they are in the mall but it’s a very impersonal churn in and out type vibe. I will NOT be returning.

Gutted to be posting this review. When the spa opened I loved coming here to treat myself a few times a year. However, my last 4 visits have been horrible experiences. I am only posting this after 4 visits, as I didn’t want to jump to conclusions too quickly and hoped they were isolated events/wanted to give them another shot. Unfortunately, today I have accepted this is the new norm. The lady working on my nails was also the receptionist I believe, maybe the manager? What normally is maximum half an hour, took double that because she was constantly up and down attending the very busy front desk. This, I can put up with if there is a good service. Unfortunately, it seriously impacted the service. She was very rough with my nails, nicking me a few times and causing quite a lot of pain. Furthermore, the job was very very rushed and that is evident in the outcome. My nails are all miss matched in length, not straight, haven’t been filed smooth so catch on things, and the polish is uneven. I asked her in the moment to fix some missed spots, however, due to how busy she was, and that I was already running late, I couldn’t bring up my disappointment with my nails in general. I don’t often treat myself and hope for a nice relaxing spa treatment, but unfortunately I don’t think you can expect that anymore. The photos were taken immediately after I arrived home from the shop. Really gutted

I've been a loyal customer of Luxurious Nails since it first opened, and I've always appreciated the student discount they offered. The staff has been friendly and accommodating in the past, always honoring my student ID for a 12% discount, which as a budget-conscious student, meant a lot to me. However, my recent experience on Thursday, August 15th, left me disappointed. Despite having used my 2022 student ID throughout the year, the nail technician insisted on a 2023 ID, even after I showed my current university enrollment and class schedule as proof. While I understand policies are in place, I believe that loyal customers should be treated with respect and understanding. This abrupt change in their approach to the discount left me perplexed. In contrast, I visited Blooming Nails just across the road, a smaller business, where they gladly accepted my student discount without any hesitation. It's disheartening to feel like a valued customer at one establishment and then be treated indifferently at another, especially when Luxurious Nails is expanding as a franchise. This incident has left me reconsidering my choice of nail salons. I hope that this review serves as constructive feedback and encourages Luxurious Nails to maintain the warmth and customer-centered service that initially won me over but now I will not be returning

Staff were lovely, service was good, but my gel manicure started peeling off 4 nails within a week. Is not the first time I’ve had my nails done here and the gel has chipped within a very short amount of time

Appt took 1.45 hours for a gel manicure! 45 minutes I spent with nails just in solution alone waiting to have old gel removed. Hopefully i dont get a ticket mailed to me. Quality of nails not as good as what I'm used to at other salons but range of colours nice but owner nice and friendly.

18th birthday treat for granddaughter but was really disappointed... She had to wait another 30mins after time I had booked. Although she told lady it was her 1st visit, there was no smiles or conversation and my granddaughter felt uncomfortable. Cleanliness was a bit lacking and there were someone elses finger nail clippings still on table!

-took probably an hour to remove my powder dip nails (fingers in acetone the whole time), should take about 5 minutes with a strong drill bit. -charged 15 extra to remove “extensions” even though they were just powder dipped with maybe two millimeters of nail tip glued on, should have been treated no different than a regular nail, took no extra effort -did i mention it took forever to remove my nails? Id say try to get them off before you come if you can. -very heavy handed with the drill, left me with grooves all over and i could see down to my nail bed in some places. absolutely horrific. my nails are now paper thin when I’ve spent so long growing them healthily -the filing technique had me cringing the whole time. she was taking my paper thin nails and scrubbing the file back and forth like they were made of plastic or something, they were my natural nails!!!! my sidewalls look like rubbish too, she was very file-happy. -she also had me soak these already compromised nails in water, which i try to avoid as much as possible, even using gloves to wash my hair in the shower to avoid water on natural nails. -the last tech i ended up with (was switched between three) was very kind, but had awful technique. -my nails are now flimsy and damaged even with the gel on them. I can see the drill damage through the polish. I will not be returning and strongly suggest trying someplace else. I’m going to have to get my nails redone this weekend now, if they don’t break before then. My nails looked better the first time I tried gel at home.
