Fast and efficient service! We had quite a complex gas leak (and then turns out water leak too) and the plumber that came out was methodical and thorough with problem solving what was going on. Got it all sorted within a few hours and stopped more damage from happening! Highly recommended.

These guys are truly of awesome value. They set us up with the gas hot water system. We were let down by our gas supplier on gas who flatly refused to deliver the gas we required to do so even thou the are the gas was to be installed was set up to the gas companies requirements this guy refused. Thanks to the guys at gas and water they sorted the gas out thru another company who has no problems with delivering as they too had down a site visit and recommended the area and what was needed for the gas to be delivered. These guys Rock and will sort whatever you need replaced or repaired. Thanks guys.

I would not use these people under any circumstances. Some Facts: Negligent work flooded our kitchen ceiling resulting in about $2000 damage. A filter was marked up by 100% from the retail price of the manufacturer around the corner here in Dunedin. Simple building modifications and moving an existing cistern upstairs took many "mornings" and then they went to another job after lunch which meant I paid for morning tea and lunch and almost no work. Even then the cistern was still leaking and I had to get them back. They charged me $49.35 for the incorrect washer for the toilet cistern! This washer appears to actually retail for $35 and a correct washer retails for less than $10!!!. They wanted $118 to change a washer that should have been done properly the first time!! I refused to pay and had to threaten to go to the Dispute Tribunal for the first time ever with a tradesman. Other work had to be redone. I have all the invoices and emails if they dispute any of this. I would give zero stars if I could...The vast majority of people who have reviewed this company have only done 1 or 2 reviews in total. Have a look. I find that very strange.

Great company to work with. Very responsive and helpful when you need them. Their team come around on time and are always professional when doing the job. I've used them on multiple occasions and they are my go to business for any gas and water repairs. I feel they charge a fair price for their excellent work so never have any complaints there. It would be good if more trade companies could operate like Gas & Water does.
