   Using their online service prompt to get a Quote for replacement pair new tyres but they sent back a quote with price for single tyre without a pair total listed so I thought the cost was for a pair. Booked in the service and asked for total cost wanting to know if service price was more so could budget for it. Once they had my car in lift they phoned to tell me all 4 needed replacement but that wasn't true. When I got back they'd changed all 4 and the man in office was rudely on a call arguing with another customer over company phone and also arguing with a male costumer in the shop I wanted to organize payment for the agreed pair and billing for unwanted others at a later time. The aggressive way he was talking to people gave me a panic attack but I couldn't ask for my keys and leave so had to pay the total of 997 dollars just to get my keys handed back. When I called later to challenge the price charged and what was quoted. Then asked for an email breakdown of costs and charges they emailed through such an unprofessional record that didn't even make sense. Avoid this place and the unprofessional way they talk to costumers. Have always used another garage that sends clean understandable invoice with detailed breakdown of costs and a running total easily read on invoice and receipts. Tony's doesn't do anything close to professional

   As the previous person said, three weeks ago - VERY DISHONEST. I brought my car in yesterday intending to replace a bulb but to my shock was told I needed to replace the entire rear tail light as it had moisture in it; he deliberately moved into another room to make the call on his mobile to price the part; he then came back telling me it was, ‘very (surprisingly) expensive’ and quoted me $850 for it!!! In shock I left there then, hoping it might be a warranty issue, heading to Subaru Service at Southern Motor Court, (who deal with my warranty company) who were not only extremely helpful but who told me the new light cost $612 and they would have fitted it for $750…a $238 drop in price from Tony’s quote… I then thought I’d get a second opinion for my WOF as well…, The next garage I tried told me over the phone to get in there, ‘that the $850 quote was a bloody rip off!’ and then, upon seeing my car told me that the new light was definitely not even necessary for the wof! (The second place, which had to remove a nail for my tyre for the wof as well, also assured me that the new tail light was not necessary for a wof, they could also have sorted it for me for less than $100!!) overall, the whole wof cost me a minor portion of Tony’s inflated price for that one rear light. As the previous customer said, ‘very dishonest!’ And honestly, I clocked him the second he left the room to phone for the quote out of my earshot. AVOID avoid avoid!!!

   Very dishonest, went in there as had an air bubble in my front left tire but didnt know that was the issue at the time. He chucked it up on the lift and spun my rear tire and said that was the issue as my tire was bald, i knew that wasnt the case as ive driven on bald tyres before and never do they make a doof doof feeling, he kept lying saying it was the rear tyre, i then asked why would that create a big doof doof doof when driving he tried to spin a mad yarn again. I knew that wasnt the problem, then he went to the front tires and spun them when he spun the front left tire i could see a big air bubble on my tire, I said i told you it wasnt the rear tires that needed to be replaced! I am lucky i knew what i was talking about or I would of got ripped off over $1000 and still would of had the same issue! Sad theres garages that lie like this. I never write reviews like this but if it saves one person from getting ripped off like i almost did then all this is worthwhile I ended up going to AUTO REPAIR OTAGO on Surrey street the most genuine garage ive ever found in dunedin Highly recommend these guys used them for almost 2 years now.

   I had the most easiest and quick experience with the guys here, they were friendly and welcoming. They did a great job on my car looks new and drives smooth. I also recieved a txt link of a video of them working on my car this wowed me ! I highly recommend this place to family and friends. Thank you to the team here!

   Booked the car in to get a slow leak looked at. Sadly they didnt get it done in the time frame they had given me. I brought 4 new tyres there last year, I thought the follow up would be better.

   Top notch! Down to earth, very professional. Tony’s Tyres don’t try scare & up-sell like some of the other big companies I’ve used previously, just really honest, friendly & super easy to deal with. Saved me a decent amount + have afterpay which is awesome if you’re caught out unexpectedly - this is my second experience with the Dunedin branch - you’ve got a customer for life - keep up the excellent service!

   They got me sorted, I've two of the best tires now. They check over my car to see everything was in good working order and did a wheel alignment. I got peace of mind and a little sticker to say they'd fix a puncture for the life of the tires. Easy, hassle free.
