   Every time I shop here I’m greeted warmly. Staff are always super chatty and lovely even when they’re in the middle of unpacking/sorting merchandise out. The sizes are consistent as well! If you are a 12 in a shirt you will be a 12 in other clothes as well because they use the same patterns. I really love this shop, they have something for everyone.

   The Dunedin Store is great (triggers my OCD, but still great) and the staff are always lovely. This review is for the online store. Although it ships local to NZ.. shipping is still pretty pricey at $15+ regardless of how much you spend. Once confirmed it just doesnt get dispatched... after a week with nothing but an oversaturation of advertising emails I requested if they could not guarantee it'd be with me 2 weeks after I ordered it, id like a refund. (it was for a specific event and would be pointless if it arrived weeks later) The email I got back was short and basically confirmed I wont be getting my item. Some stock online isnt stocked in the physical store hence why I purchased... just seems really scammy if they have no intention of dispatching any items. Seems like im not the only review with this issue. Sort it out.

   This review is more for the online store. I enjoy the Dangerfield selection and I've been happy with what I got from them but the online store is one of the worst online shopping experiences I have ever had (and I have had a lot). I don't mind paying shipping most of the time but the fact they don't offer free shipping after a minimum spend as WELL as it taking them literal WEEKS to just ship out the order, not including delivery time is kinda unreasonable. I left this review and 3 weeks later I STILL have not had a shipping confirmation, only an email blaming "large volumes of orders" for the delay yet every day I get multiple advertisements from the store. As for instore Their Dunedin store is cluttered but I don't mind that, it's even a little charming and fun to browse but that probably hints at how their warehouse for online stock is organized and why it's so slow. They could also benefit by pricing things or advertising specials better. a lot of times things are on sale but you wouldn't know by seeing the tags at the store. I may still shop at Dangerfield in person but I will avoid the online store at all costs, never have I experienced such ridiculous delays for non-custom items.

   Nice clothes but don't buy online. misleading returns policy and takes months to ship. also store is messy and unorganised

   I recently discovered Dangerfield in November, with 5 minutes left to try on a funky pair of pants before the store closed I was told by the staff not to rush. The lady at the store had said try on as much as you like we are in no rush to go home. I had four staff members looking after me, bringing in different styles and styles of clothes until I found the perfect outfit. I apologized for taking up their time, but they were over the moon to help. I had the most amazing experience here and am planning my next trip to Dunedin to spend a day here. To the girls that took care of me that afternoon - you have no idea how much that service meant to me. Thank you
