   Our windscreen was damaged by a large stone flicked up from a large truck traveling through road works. We decided to contact Novus and wow their service, professionalism, promptness, care, etc was all first class. In fact, it was totally impressive. We have never had such impressive service from any body like we received from Steve on Tuesday 9 December 2025. He was understanding, professional, efficient, and went far and beyond any service we've received any where in the past. He was totally outstanding and a real credit to Novus. Right from the initial phone call about the damaged windscreen to the repair, Novus have been amazing to deal with. They are awesome communicators - due to time restraints Steve ensured our windscreen was safe to drive to Nelson with and the replacement is being put in by the Stoke Branch. Dealings with them are top notch. Go NOVUS, we thoroughly recommend you.

   Had my 2014 Mazda CX-5 windscreen replaced through AMI Insurance on 4/12/2025. The job was a complete shambles from start to finish: • Tried to fit a cheap non-factory tinted screen without any warning that it wouldn’t match the rest of the car’s privacy glass. Only my own knowledge stopped a horrible tint mismatch – they just wanted to push extra paid tinting afterwards. • Left the entire interior full of sharp glass shards. I raised it repeatedly with Nathan, who shrugged it off saying “sometimes they can’t remove all the glass”. My young son later cut his finger on a piece. • Failed to refit the boot handle properly. • Nathan rang me at 4:13pm saying the car was ready at 5pm (he never mentioned closing time was 5pm), so I jumped in an Uber across town in rush-hour traffic – only to arrive and find the place locked up. Had to wait over an hour for a staff member to return and let me in. Car left unsafe, full of glass and with parts missing. Novus showed zero care or competence. If you’re sent here by insurance, demand a different repairer. Absolutely shocking service – do not recommend.

3. East side Potholes hunter ★☆☆☆☆

   Good Customer Service but you get a one star review while sitting in the waiting room a staff member went to go to the bathroom and the two other staff members there run her down because she didn’t know what she was talking about to a customer on the phone for a call she had just taken. Quoting did she come down on the last shower or something. Very professional behaviour in front of customers .

   Contacted Novus after receiving no contact from Smith and Smith. After filing out their easy form online, Novus contacted me over the phone to confirm my selected appointment less than 5 minutes later. Appointment was scheduled for Wednesday but their mobile service was free and they phoned to see if I'd like it done today (Monday) and we're promptly round 15 minutes later and had my windscreen chip fixed both promptly, effectively and professionally. Highly recommend

   Girl on reception ditsy. Had to repeat myself several times. 45min repair turned into over an hour. Wth!!!! Repair didn't take that long as looked out window and they only just started after 45min. Won't use again. Just asked again. Another 10minutes. Useless. I was told 30min on phone yesterday. SHOULD OF GONE TO SMITH&SMITH

   I really loved the service provided by Mr.Steve on 8/2/23. He came to my workplace to service my front glass and I was busy with work when he reached. He understood that when I spoke to him and said he will come back again on my time. He was so kind and he did a wonderful job. I did love how he understood that I'm at my job and busy times could occur anytime and the time I asked him to come could turn the busiest. Loved his service
