I absolutely loved this place even before trying them out. They were so generous to offer a free coffee for the blood donors in Cambridge, and maybe everywhere. They value people which made me like them before trying out. Their coffee, company and the food too is amazing. Cheers guys, keep it up.
The cafe was delicious and the service was friendly. The pastry looked great but I went with a breakfast sandwich. It was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend a stop.
The Bale by Country Co. is a standout addition to Cambridge. You can tell the crew behind this place genuinely care about what they’re putting out — the space is industrial but welcoming, and the food? Next level. Let’s talk about the Biscoff donut — hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfect dough, oozing with that creamy filling, topped with rich chocolate and Biscoff crumble. Seriously addictive. Coffee? Incredible. Slow Coffee Roasters absolutely nailing their espresso blend — smooth, strong, and full of flavour. Flat white was bang on. Plus they serve it up with a cheeky little caramel treat on the side — nice touch. Also had the smoked salmon bagel — fresh, balanced, and beautifully plated. Love a place that puts care into both taste and presentation. Even the microgreens had purpose. If you’re in the area I can’t recommend this place enough, in fact it’s worth travelling for. Great food, proper coffee. You can tell these guys are doing it right from the ground up.
