   Took 4 hours to do a basic service and charged me $515. Absolute shonks. Take my hard earned lesson and go to one of the many other mechanics in town. Initial estimated time was 1.5hrs. Nothing unusual needed done so not sure how it takes 4 hours, apparently changing an air filter ($30 part, 5 minutes max) and a cabin air filter ($20 part, 5 minute job) cost $192! None of this additional work was requested or was I told of the additional costs Absolute sharks.

   We broke down and Johan was very flexible given it was a public holiday. He was helpful and if we didn’t have a friend that could tow us for a good price we would’ve used him to investigate our issue. Very happy to help and would definitely use his service if we were in Te Awamutu

   Do not recommend at all. Johann said the brake needed replacing. Went elsewhere and the brake was fine whereas they found other faults which Johann never mentioned. AND he charged me $66.70. If I could give no stars or negative stars I would. Never coming back.
