   A nice Cafe to jump in before or after your Hobbitton visit, the coffee was nice, a lot of options also for snack. The only downside is as there is so much turnaround the tables are so what dirty.

   We stopped at The Shire’s Rest Café and it was a solid, convenient place to eat before a busy day. The biggest plus is the location. If you are heading to Hobbiton, it saves you time and stress because you are already right where you need to be. The café setup feels organized, and the staff kept the line moving even when it got crowded. Food wise, it did what it needed to do. Nothing felt over the top, but it was fresh, filling, and easy to grab without turning the stop into a long production. Coffee was good and hit the spot. Seating was comfortable enough, and it worked well for groups who want to sit, plan the next step, and reset before the tour. Now the honest part. If you are expecting a destination meal, you might leave underwhelmed. Prices feel like they match the setting and the foot traffic, not always the portion size. Also, depending on the time you arrive, the vibe can swing from relaxed to busy fast.

   Great little cafe next to the gift shop and tour departure area for a quick fuel up before or after the tour. Service was very pleasant and quick despite how busy they were. We had the cronut, chicken pesto toastie, and steak pie. Only slight downside was the pie was a little too salty for our taste but others may enjoy it.

   A nice cafe on the top of the gift shop. They have a wide variety on their menu for cold and hot food. There is also a wide selection of cold and hot beverages including juices, sodas, beer, and Coffee. There is ample dining space inside the cafe with both indoors and semi outdoors options. Their staff are really nice and the service is also fast. The prices are relatively normal given how touristy this site is. This is a great spot to grab a meal or drink either before or after your tour. Since the spot is pretty much half an hour away from any decent restaurant in the area, so it’s good to grab a bite. The parking is free in the main parking lot and there is no time limit. Moreover, there is free WiFi in the restaurant. The menu has vegetarian options, while you can check with the staff for your dietary restrictions. The cafe however is not wheelchair accessible since it’s on the first floor of a wooden building accessible by stairs only. The menu has various kid-friendly items as well.

   Great cafe! We went for a bite before the hobbiton tour and it was a filling and inexpensive lunch before we went on it. I ordered the pork belly sandwich and it was quite good. They have beepers to get the food. There are premade cold sandwich or you can get a hot toasty. It can get crowded due to the amount of people at hobbiton. They also have a water station.
