   I engaged Matamotor Trimmers to install a rear sun brow on a fly bridge launch. 10 Days later in a 40 knt winds blew the sun visor off and did $30k worth of damage to the boat. I note that this was the only sun visor damaged in the marina in that weather event. Feedback from two other manufactures of sun brows is that they should be welded rather than the using the light weight single grub screw attachment method like the sun brow Matamata Motor Trimmers supplied. The quality of the canvas cover was also very loose. The design and job quality was not fit for purpose and the price was the same as the replacement welded sun brow. Unfortunately the sun brow wasn't on the boat for long enough to get a photo, I have attached photos of some of the damage caused by the brow flapping around in the wind. The rear clears needed replacing due to severe damage. When I called to discuss the damage that was done the reply was "S#@T happens"...... I was very surprised to get this reply as this company came highly recommended to me. As you can imagine this really put a damper on our summer boating and 6 months later the boat has nearly had all the damage repaired!!!

   I just want to let everyone know what a horrible experience I have had with motor trimmers down the main street. I went and ordered a caravan stone cover for my holiday and they told me it will definitely be ready by xmas. Went in there 1 week ago and they 'reassured me it would be done although I did understand they were busy. Went to collect it yesterday and they told me it would be ready at 12pm today. So I off I go to collect and then the store is closed. Gave the boss a call and he hasn't even made it. No apology and they clearly lied to me about the service the whole time when they could have just said no sorry can't do it. Appalling service right from the start and the fact they lied to me about their services is very concerning. Yes I gave them a peice of my mind and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
