   BIG mistake to have a deal with Wilks Penny Suzuki in Te Awamutu. Never go back again and would NOT recommend to anyone else. It’s not just my opinion, heard many negative feedbacks about them. Very slow, very Expensive and over pricing service.

   After a glowing recommendation from Suzuki NZ I decided to try Wilks Penny Suzuki in Te Awamutu. HUGE expensive mistake! The managers/owners (Mark) patronizing and condescending response to a query on how long a 1st service took was disappointing to say the least. My bike was in the workshop for 2.5 hours yet I got charged for 3. The response was that another mechanic also worked on it at the same time.. A basic 250cc motorcycle needed two mechanics for a simple service with valve check - 2 tappets?. At this rate it would take them 12hours plus to do a valve check on a GSXR1000 as an example. The excuse was they had to take ALL the plastic and tank off. I did it at home 1st time and took me 13minutes as a comparision.. Look elsewhere as I will be.. The lady who booked and processed the service provided excellent customer service however.

   I have to admit, it can be difficult to find a good local motorcycle center as a woman motorcyclist, and I often drive a few hours north to Drury. However, Mark and his team were very friendly and helpful. I will be using their services in the future.

   Parts department is rubbish. Not posted when it was supposed to be. No confirmation order was ready to be shipped.. took 3 days. Had to call to find out what the story was.Website said 20% of clearly, didn't get 20% of because order was not over $100 dollars although it wasn't specified underneath advertisement. I don't usualy do this review stuff but what a let down. Now I've had to let people down because my chain still hasn't arrived. Service is service despite the time of the year and that's just fact. Was going to order a servicing kit this week but I will never buy again from this place

   I got my bike and 2 lots of riding gear from here. They are Always very helpful, kind, welcoming and give advice without brushing you off quickly to get rid of you…I wouldn’t go anywhere else :)

   Found this to be very expensive, service was basic. Sadly did not find them to very helpful. Would recommend to anyone to go elsewhere unless you want to spend a fortune for minimal results.
