   My partner brought her car here for collision repairs. They offered us one of their lime-green loaner cars, which we didn’t really need because we also have my car, but we accepted since they said there was no extra cost. We parked the loaner in front of our house and didn’t drive it once the entire week. When we returned it, they claimed there was damage underneath and said it looked like it had been 'off-roaded.' Because of this, we were charged an additional $500 deductible for the loaner on top of the $500 deductible for our own repair. I spoke with the owner, explained that we never used the loaner, and after a lot of back and forth he said that even if we didn’t cause the damage, it was still our responsibility for not inspecting the car when we picked it up. In other words, if the damage was already there, it was still on us. We ended up paying $1,000 total—half of it for damage to a car we never even drove. Their 'free' loaner ended up costing $500. Customers beware!

   Ferrymead Collision Repair and Automotive are nothing less than exceptional. I had my car in for collision repair and had some mechanical issues on the way to drop it in - the communication was far beyond my expectations, courtesy car to help me get through in the interim with very minimal cost, and the admin staff and mechanical staff were in constant and transparent communication - especially where a pricey part for mechanical repair came up and other mechanics would’ve fit it and notified me of the bill later. This is a shop that cares about cars and people and go the extra mile - something I haven’t experienced with my local mechanic. Thank you Ferrymead automotive for a fantastic experience and we will be sure to bring our other few vehicles back to you in the future.

Mike went out of his way, even assisting with collecting my vehicle when the accident happened, provided me with a loan car as soon as possible, and there was great communication from start to finish. Right from the very friendly staff to the workmanship it’s all been simply amazing. To add to this Mike was excellent in giving the honest advise for each which is very hard to get these day.    Bad service!! Took 1 hour 45 minutes for a wof to be failed on many minor things, some of which aren’t legally necessary. The people serving me were friendly but another worker came out swearing and had a bad attitude.

   To the team at both Ferrymead Automotove and Ferrymead Collision. Thanks for taking care of my AMG over the last couple of weeks. It was fantastic having the service and wheel alignment carried out while the panel-beating work was also being taken care of. The fact you're a one stop shop helps me immensely. The loan car you made available was a treat as well. She may not have been an AMG but she got me where I needed to be so I could keep working with my clients.    Mike (the owner) is his own worst enemy, abrupt bordering on rude often inappropriate and has a temper just under control. Every time I have been there for the last 5/6 years there has been a change of staff and so you tend to view work with care. Nothing has caused complaint in all fairness but trust has been lost and I have found alternatives for services and paint and panel repairs with better treatment and at considerably less cost. I note the reply posted on behalf of the owner and the company but stand by my critique. It is not the concern of customers what goes on "behind the scenes" The stress etc. What does matter is customer experience and that relies on service, workmanship and these days price. As stated My money and custom has gone elsewhere where it is appreciated and I am dealt with fairly and to my satisfaction.
