I bought a pair of Second hand German Army boots. Sales assistant reported boots are worth $800 and a good price at $100. I wore them for two walks (2 days). Barnett Park cave walk and Henry Ellis walk. I took them back on the second walk still on. The toe area(sole) had come away from the boots. I was told to come back Monday has no one could help or consider a refund until the manager looked at them. I couldn't get into store until Tuesday. This is wear the manager began telling me that he and a soldier friend had discussed the problem. They came to the conclusion that the only way the sole would come off is *that I would be purposely trying to destroy the boots by kicking things!* Remember I took these back two days after purchasing. I can't believe that a store manager would think that I or anyone else would spend two days trying to destroy merchandise to get a $100 refund! This is insulting to say the least! They gave me a refund, but made it very clear that I had purposely damaged the boots!

It's rare nowadays to find people who genuinely care so much about good customer service. I ordered some MTP trousers off the website last week, and they were delivered to my door from the Christchurch location to Hamilton in 15 hours. Incredible. Will absolutely be buying again. Edit: The price was also amazing, I forgot to mention! Only $39 per pair of MTP trousers. Total price for two trousers was about $89, and given the incredible shipping time I think that's more than worth it. I thought it'd take a week. Shockingly good.
Customer service was next level! We were looking for a particular jacket and it wasn't on the rack but available online. Tracey, very kindly went out of her way to drive to the warehouse site and bring the jacket back for us at the outlet store. Have never had someone go out of their way like that before, definitely made an amazing impression. The free shirt they were giving away was an added bonus too!

Sound interesting but is not. I thought it will be like the ones that i had in my country and the clothes and gear would be top notch as was meant for military. They get their stuff from all over the place, especially from Europe - used, worn out. It is EXPENSIVE and is rare that you get something cheap. Off course everyone makes money in the New Zealand, it’s their right :) Some of the stuff “can be” competitive on price but you decide what you want to pay for the used stuff as the prices are almost same as you would get in NZ stores. Good for daggers, knives and emblems. Also, GPS will give you a ride to find this place :)
A fantastic store. We came from Tauranga while on holiday specifically to visit here it didn't disappoint. Great prices, friendly staff. We left with lots of stuff and two very happy boys.
