Incredibly helpful staff and a fantastic community culture. Nifty has built something sustainable and special. They are a winner for the costumer, and a winning choice for anyone wanting to sell their clothes. Everything feels clean, well picked, and reasonably priced.
It was an unreal experience, first to discover this movie-set like shop. The condition of clothes and items were kept to a high standar d. Hence, the price is fair and reasonable. I personally consider this is a world class vintage clothing shop. Staffs were friendly and detail orientated and approachable, display and right amount of blank space were organized even better than luxury department stores. I couldn't believe that there is a duplicate on the shelf, brand is called Dickie, a pink trouser I had at Uni, unfortunately it was stolen at the dorm laundry. Incredibly lucky to pass this greatness where you can easily blend in.
I popped into Nifty for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it! The store is really spacious and beautifully set up, with such a great range of clothing to browse through. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were super friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my new favourite op shops β Iβll be back for sure!
Keep a good record of the clothing that they take from you. I gave them a y2k oakley puffer jacket in great condition that they took intending to sell. yet it never went out into the store. they told me they had "donated" it to charity. After having already sorted through my clothing and deciding what they did and did not want. I don't believe a bar of that as it was a very valuable coat and it is literally ski season. so don't tick the box if you actually want them to sell your clothing. I had a similar experience last time I sold through them but it wasn't particularly valuable so I blew it off. I am very unhappy about this. I hope whichever employee took it enjoys it.
Beautiful store with everything you need for a quick or leisurely shop. For a zen shop the clothing is sorted by colour and style. For the leisurely shopper there are comfy couches and a welcoming space. What I loved was that Rosie helped me find something for my daughter who regularly shops and sells her there. This personal touch was like having a personal shopper. Thank you and I will be back.
Nifty is a gift to Εtautahi! Thoughtful space, community making, and a really fantastic selection of clothes. I find the prices are accurate for what they are worth with the consideration of brand vs condition, etc. Definitely not over-priced, but bang on what you could expect elsewhere. I have huge hopes for this business as theyβve started with a bang!
New Store Friendly Service Some great clothing items at a very reasonable prices. Can pick up some good brands here. A word of caution, please read the tags carefully as some items do have certain manufacturing/pieces missing. You may buy a dress and not realize that the belt is missing. They do tend to list if there is any issues with any of the items. If not sure, please ask and they are happy to assist. I have only been there once and will give an update once I get to know the place a bit more. But please drop-in and check it out.
Nicely curated shop with a cool vibe . . . But dirty unsorted clothing. I found an old have mask in the pocket of the $75 jeans I tried on. And the coat I liked was filthy and expense given it needed a clean. The prices you charge you need to do better.
Love this local gem! Feeling thrifty? Shop Nifty! They have a great range of clothing with new stock going out regularly. All sorts of interesting pieces, shoes & accessories. Great central location with free on street parking.
