   Recently went and bought some items only to find out later that the skirt I had bought for $79 was only $30 on AliExpress and the necklace that I had gotten for $25 was $2 off of AliExpress as well. Many other items I had taken photos of I was able to just do a quick search and find on AliExpress for significantly cheaper which really disappointed me. Do not go here.

   I couldn't recommend this shop enough. These (humans?) are incredible. Really helpful service with a huge range of epic clothes and accessories. There aren't many places around that could match what they have here. Make sure you get down there and check the place our before you die. If you're lucky enough, they'll whizz you through their quantum waveform disassembly teleporter and you'll arrive at your own 5th birthday. Ps don't blink. The googly eyes are coming for you.

   I grabbed a few wonderful items from Grymmstone & Treacle recently and it was such a cool experience! The shop’s packed with awesome, handcrafted stuff, nick knacks and accessories. The staff were super chill and really knew their stuff. They made it feel extra special and are super LGBTQ+ friendly. I've never felt so comfortable buying clothes. I’m so happy with what I picked up and can’t wait to go back for more! If you’re after something unique and a bit magical, this is the spot. 5/5 stars!

   I've been on the look out for a local, sustainable option for alternative clothing and this shop came up in my searches. After recently visiting, I left incredibly disappointed. If you're looking for sustainable fashion, this is NOT an option. A large amount of the stock is fast fashion that has had the tags removed and been given a diabolical price increase. Nobody should be paying these prices for sweatshop items. The clothes and the accessories are mostly low quality pieces. Kraft paper posters made from Al artwork, which is highly against alternative movements. It felt like an insult. It is undeniable to me as somebody who has studied and worked in fashion design and has been trained to identify sweatshop/dropshipped items in this economy. Not only that, with a quick Google image search I was able to find the exact garments on fast fashion sites. These unethical sites promote stolen designs, unpaid/underpaid labour of children, and are all around unsustainable. What makes it worse is when people buy it only to sell it for ridiculous profit. There are some clearly handmade pieces in this store which are beautiful and they stand out among the rest! I wish for a local store that claims to encourage creativity and imagination to only stock items made/designed by local artists who are passionate about their work. I was so excited to visit this store- What an upsetting experience.

   This is brilliantly stocked shop full of dark and playful imaginings, stylish and elegant. Hats, waistcoats, corsets, bustles and more. Local artists are promoted and supported here, all of whom produce well made and unique designs. You would be hard pressed to find a better boutique.

   Service is fantastic. Variety is exceptional. Whether you are into steam punk, gothic, or cosplay, you'll find something here. I will likely be going back every weekend to see what new stock they have. I can see a lot of my income disappearing into this store.

   Awesome place. The owners Kat and Poy are helpful and informative. It's an explosion of the mind of which I returned twice to take it all in. Many choices of clothing, themes and styles to choose from. Complete outfits can be made here including shoes, Clothing , undergarments, hats and jewellery. I will return and suggest you go to...you will not regret it.
